Could anyone tell me about Yachtsmen. how is the food. Does anyone have pictures they can share. Is it worth the 2 dining credits from the dining plan. thanks in advance for any help.

This is now one our favorites! We had a wonderful dining experience there and our waiter was amazing. Since Yachtsmen, we have yet to go back to Le Cellier.

we went in July with our 2 kids ages 6 and 8 months. We did get a very early reservation since we didn't want to have our son disturb anyone being a baby and we had a wonderful server.

The food was fabulous. There were quite a few children so don't be intimidated. though mine were the youngest one older couple even commented how well behaved our little guy was.

I've loved Yachtsman for several years--and it's been surprisingly consistent for all ofthose years, which is hard to find at Disney sometimes.

Great steaks, good sides, wonderful service. I would also put Yachtsman's steaks above Le Cellier's--it's a more pleasant experience all around.

Unfortunately, they stopped serving Ribeye last year during free dining...hopefully they'll bring it back soon.

I can highly recommend the artisan cheese plate--it's wonderful.

Yachtsman Steakhouse and Le Cellier aren't really even comparable. It's like comparing an Outback Steakhouse to Morton's or Ruth's Chris. They both serve steak, but they are really completely different dining experiences. Yachtsman is more upscale, has better quality meat and mich better service.

I can not wait to eat there!!!!!

Although we are definitely in the minority here, we do not like the Yachtsman's Steakhouse. WE have tried it 3 times and we do not care for the food. Like MickeyNickey's husband our steaks were fatty and the meal was not good. We are 3 adults and we were all disappointed. We will not go back.

Love the location, service has always been good. Restaurant has always been a more adult atmosphere, quiet, a great place to share a meal and some conversation.

The filets I have had here have been fine. The other steaks I have had (NY, ribeye) have been fatty and actually a bit tough to even cut.

The side dishes you can order separately are very good.

Good dessert selection.

We've dined there 2 or 3 times, and the meal has been excellent for both food and service. While I don't find any restaurant worth burning 2 TS credits from the DDP, the Yachtsman (along with the Flying Fish) comes closest.

Once again I defer to Pakey's assesment. The Chateaubriand was pretty good the last time we had it.
