Yachtsmen Steakhouse - How to get from Floridian/Worth going with kids?

What the best way to go and how long to get there..... we are bringing a 1 year old and 4 year old along.... wonder if it's worth the effort to go this far off from Floridian? Thanks for your thoughts.....

You can take the monorail to EPCOT and walk thorough EPCOT , out the back door and over to the YC OR you can take a bus to MGM and take the boat from MGM to the YC. I'd plan on an hour at the least to get there from the GF.

This restaurant is fantastic, but I'm not so sure I would want to take my little kids to it. It is a long trip for little ones, and the food and atmosphere are on the sophisticated side.

There are always plenty of kids that age at Yachtsman--and all other WDW restaurants as well. Getting there is a hassle w/o a car. If you like steak it's a good restaurant.

The Yachtsman is a typical high-quality steakhouse. If you aren't driving, take the bus from the Magic Kingdom to the Yacht Club. The walk from the Yacht Club's bus stop is really not that long. Enjoy!

Didn't think about tghe bus option DAna49- that's a GREAT suggestion! By far the easiest of them all- and would be managable with little ones!!

Yes, that was Dana's suggestion and would be the easiest if using WDW transportation.

But I'm with Uncleromulus. If you have a car, drive.

If not, I'd probably stick with one of the GF restaurants.
