We have reservations for 5:30, Looking for ideas for after dinner. Would we have time to make it to fireworks anywhere. We are pretty open. No kids, and we are not drinkers.

You will definitely have plenty of time to make Illuminations at Epcot. Possibly even a breeze around the World Showcase. The walk from the Yacht & Beach Club complex to the International Gateway entrance is just a few minutes. We like to watch the fireworks from the bridge that connects the United Kingdom to France as it is a great view.

After dinner, take a nice, leisurely stroll around the lagoon. You can walk into Epcot through the International Gateway and have plenty of time to find a spot for Illuminations. You could even get a treat at the bakery in France.

If you don't feel like walking into a park, you can always just walk around the lake and check out all the Epcot resorts. The Boardwalk should have its evening entertainment going that you can enjoy.

Have a fun evening and enjoy the time you get to spend as a couple!! How romantic!!!

Both those ideas are great as you will need to walk off after eating there. We ate there last year and i left in pig misery:rotfl2:. I would do fantasmic especially if you have never done it before because it is a must see. You could also walk over to Fantasia gardens to play some putt putt which is always fun and very hard. Hope you enjoy your trip and i cant wait to go again this year been getting the bug since christmas. Just went in nov and always ready to go see Mickey!!!!!:cool1:

I would walk around WS and enjoy the evening. Then stay for Illuminations!

I have an ADR for the same time as you and was thinking of doing Jellyrolls after. Hoping that is practical.

I'm thinking it would be perfect timing to walk over to Epcot for Illuminations. It is a beautiful walk at night.

A variation on same question -- we're going to yachtsman on the night we arrive -- but since we're getting in late -- not going to have park tickets for that day....Is there a place from which you can see the aerial portion of illuminations (but not the globe thing on the lake)? ....Or would you guys say ... get on the monorail and go watch Wishes from the beach at the Poly? (Or something else...?);)

If you are not going to have tickets I would go to the beach at Poly. We went to Illuminations but I was not impresses. For me Wishes is always magical.

Jelly rolls on the Board Walk is fun, you don't have to drink just listen and sing along with the music. It's a really fun night!
