Entrees tend to come with a potato or other starch, but the sides like creamed spinach are a la carte and not covered by the Deluxe Dining Plan.

You still get a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert (and non-alcoholic beverage) just like any other restaurant on the DxDP.

BriarRosie covered the dining plan logistics already, but I'll add that I've eaten there quite a few times. I've had some great meals and some that were just good. I have an ADR there again in a month.

Although I am in the minority here on the DIS, we do not like Yachtsman Steakhouse and we will not return. We have tried it 3 times and our food just was not good.
The ambience is wonderful and the service was good, but the food was not.

I can't comment on the DDP, but our meals at the YS have been some of the very best. Wonderful fine dining experience and a great excuse to "spruce up" a little.

Not to hijack this thread, but I was wondering about this as well...

We will be on the regular DDP when we visit Yachtsman in October. Is it possible to spend a snack credit on the a la carte sides?
