Yachtsman Steakhouse

We are going on a couple's trip in mid february. 1 of the couple's going with us is on a budget, and the rest of us would like to go to this restaurant on our last night. Do they allow sharing of meals, is there a plate charge, etc. The steaks are huge here and would be plenty for 2 people. I know I couldn't eat a 20-24 ounce steak by myself. I usually order the filet or the strip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm jealous - we had to cancel our February trip over Valentine's Day and that included dinner at the Yachtsman on V'Day

I have seen plenty of people share meals there and yes, the steaks are large! Last time I went (June '09) there was not a charge for an extra plate. If you call WDW dining reservations, you could ask, but I personally think it will not be an issue at all.

Remember too that all side dishes listed on the menu are served "family style" as well - mushrooms, creamed spinach, so if you get those, the entire group can share.

Just a piece of advice, most servers are used to people sharing and splitting stuff, but be courteous and tell them when you sit down how you want everything divided. That will make it easier on you and them.
