We've decided that we would like to indulge in a 2 TS dinner this trip. We are staying at WL and thought of AP but YS menu looks delicious. What is the dress code for this TS?

We're also unsure of taking the kids to the Sandcastle Club or taking them with us. How is the atmosphere as far as kids are concerned at YS?

Thanks

It us business casual. My guys wore collared shirts and nice slacks, and the girls nice capris and shirts, sandels for the girls.

We took my DGD twice and there were plenty of kids there both times. It seems kind of laid back and friendly. We did not put a Princess dress on her, she wore nice outfits, but there were little girls all primped up in their pretty dresses, looking so cute.

We eat there every trip with 2 young kids. Dress is casual(no cut offs or sleevless )we usually wear nice shorts and collar shirt for hubby and I wear capris and nice blouse and sandals and same for kids. Nice atmosphere and great food worth 2 TS. We are going our first week of vacation while on the Off property so we can enjoy the boardwalk area and get us excited for our 2nd of vacation at the Beach club. Enjoy

The dress code is business casual: Dress shorts, Dress pants, Jean pants, Collared shirts, Blouses, and Sweaters.

The following is not permitted:
Hats, Swimsuits, Swimsuit cover-ups, Tank tops, T-shirts, Torn clothing and Flip-flops.

I always see children there, I find the atmosphere very warm and it's not stuffy at all.

Enjoy!

I'll tell ya one thing ... I'll be wearing the "elastic in the side" britches when I attack that bad boy on Sept. 24. :thumbsup2

:lmao: I'll say DH will have to do the same.

Thanks for the opinions. I just called and booked it!

The DH here is already wondering if the "Chateaubriand For Two" would do for him and I could just have some ice water :rotfl:

And my kids will be thrilled that there is strip steak or prime rib on the kid's menu!:cloud9:

Just my 2 cents...

We went to YSH the last 2 Decembers.
The first time was amazing. I had lobster and my DH had bison. The food was soooo good.

The second time they had changed their menu and I had a really hard time deciding what to get and when I finally chose the lamb, I was disappointed.
I asked the server about the menu and he said that they change it 3-4 times a year to "keep it fresh".

So my advice is to make sure that the menu you saw will be the same in Sept...although I'm not sure how to do that.

I like the atmosphere.
And FYI...last year we brought DD2 and DS6mo. and it was totally fine!!
