Ok...the most recent wdisneyw.co.uk menu of the Yachtsman states that the "Land and Sea" entree has been taken off the menu. They also say that the Chateaubriand for Two is still available. I went to Disney over New Years and we ate at the Yachtsman. The land and sea was avail. and the Chateaubriand was not.

The allearsnet one hasn't been updated since Jan of 2005. So i didn't refer to that one

Can anyone tell me about these items? Are they avail.? have they been removed?

Thanks.
J

The menu at YSH is always subject to change, and it seems that every time they rotate in a new Head Chef, the first thing they do is to change the menu.
But, I know for a fact, that if you have a special request, if you call at least a week in advance and speak directly to the chef, just about any request can be met. I have seen LARGE cuts of steak, once a Porterhouse that was the size of a roast (larger than 3lbs), once large filet's some in excess of 16ozs............
The Chateaubriand was off the menu for a while, but there was a lot of backlash, it has become a sort of signature dish at YSH and most Head Chef's realize this. Whole Live lobsters are on the menu from time to time, and the Australian Lobster Tail too.
I suggest you call.

I have a menu from last month. The Chateaubriand is on the menu under "specialties". We went to YSH a number of times last year and I am thinking it was on the menu for most of the year - we had it in October.

The "Land and Sea" is not on the menu. The only fish entree is an Ahi Tuna. Lobster add-on is $28.
