Is yachtsman pretty formal? Is there a dress code? Planning on a late dinner here after our day at DHS. First thinking about going straight there from DHS but now having second thoughts. We probably need to go back to resort and change into something nicer more appropriate?? Don't mean to sound stupid but I certainly don't want to not be dressed appropriately. Is this restauant family-friendly? Do you see a lot of families there or mostly couples?

The restaurant is family friendly, it has a business casual dress code, the later the reservation the more dressed up other guests usually are based on my previous dining experiences.

I agree it's family friendly, but also a bit above casual with some class. My DH and I had a "date" there last September and it was fantastic. I did go back to the BWV to change and get ready. I was glad I did.

Enjoy!:goodvibes

It's not formal at all. What you see in our photo (taken at the Flying Fish) will put you at the top level of what folks wear at Yachtsman.
And there will be kids--you can count on that.
PS--I'm in kakhi pants and Mrs. U in black jeans. We both have on tennis shoes.

DH wore his khaki shorts and a collared shirt and I wore capris and we didn't feel out of place at all at Yachtsman.
