These are the three options we are looking at for next summer. Family of 4 with a 14 year old girl and 10 year old boy. Leaning towards Yacht due to the price and ability to walk to Epcot (which is always the most tiring park for us). However, we are big MK fans and would probably spend more time there, but is the $1,000 price difference worth it? We ruled out AK and WL because we want the extra bed so the kids can sleep separately (the 14 year old's happiness is key, lol).

Despite the the great view at CR I would go with Yacht Club just for the ability to hop over to Epcot for diner every night. But then again, I go to Disney for the food. 😁

Yacht club for sure. The pool at CR IMO is pretty lack luster. Since you will be going in summer a nice pool is great plus walking or boat side to 2 parks.

Another vote for YC. Also, you are within walking distance to Fantasia Gardens mini golf!

Yacht Club for sure. With kids those ages the pool will be a huge hit. I took my kids to BC around that age and they stayed in the pool for hours.

Contemporary lake view will be cheaper then park view. We stayed there in 2019 and thought the lake view was great (lake, boating, lighted boat show at night). Honestly, some other have posted pictures of the theme park view and you mostly overlook the parking lot and can see a few of the taller rides in the distance.

My vote is for YC, however, the day bed at YC is not guaranteed. I would make that your one and only request. If that's a deal-breaker, I would vote Poly or look for a lower room category at CR to save money.

Good to know!!

For me, YC water view may be tops. I enjoy sitting out on the balcony watching the world go by on Crescent Lake. That said, we've committed to Poly Marina/Pool View next month...we'll see.

I wouldn't go by price as you can probably get the prices more similar if you choose more similar room views. If the price is what's holding you back from CR or Poly, choose a Bay Lake and GV and compare again. Also, the waterview at YC usually adds about $100/night to the price.

I'd normally say the Poly -- my favorite resort hands-down -- but with kiddos that age, the Stormalong Bay pool and the proximity to Epcot and DHS are both really big draws. I would probably pick YC and buy $1k worth of dole whip.

Totally agree - YC water view of Crescent Lake, my absolute favorite!
