Yacht Club

I have just been informed that our reservations have been changed from AKL to Yacht Club. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. My question is this is it better to enter at the International Gateway or walk to the gate closer to future land? What is the fastest way to get to Future Land from the resort? I would like to ride test track and maybe soarin when the park opens before the crowds.

The resort is close to the International Gateway. The only way to get to Future World from the YC is to enter at International Gateway and walk to Future World. I don't think that there is a bus to the front of Epcot (FW) from the YC.
