Hi,

We'll be staying at Yacht Club in November. Is there a little mart of some sort there where I can get some bottled water, some sodas, maybe some snacks, etc, to keep in the room's refrigerator? Or do I need to try to find time to find a grocery store?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can pre-order stuff to your room through the YC.

ETA: I can only find the order forms for DVC resorts so maybe the reg resorts don't offer this. You could call YC directly and ask.

You could also use a service like Garden Grocer.

Yes there is. All of the deluxes have a store with gifts and a small cooler / shelve space with snacks and things.

And if you walk next door to the Beach Club MarketPlace, they also have a good selection, plus a snack bar and a refillable mug station.

thanks for the info! I was going to look into the delivery thing, but when we get there, I think we're dropping our bag at the luggage service and heading straight to Epcot (assuming our room isn't ready yet). So I didn't think that would work. We probably won't need a lot - just a few snacks, sodas, and water. I think we'll be doing breakfasts on the Boardwalk or in the parks, and then counter services for lunches, then ADR's for the dinners.

Again - thanks for the replies! I'll most likely check out ALL those options! Appreciate it.

IF you use the delivery services, you can tell them when you want your delivery and bells services will keep it for you until you retrieve it, even the parishables.

We are not Coke fans, so I order a case Pepsi, a case of water, chips, juice boxes, sweet n low (disney uses the yellow packs) and some Solo cups. It works out nicely.

The gift shop at the YC offers a small refrigerated case with drinks(soda and juice) and snacks. We also walked over to BC Marketplace and bought a box of donuts to keep in the room for quick breakfasts (no DDP for us!).:flower3:

I use the blue or yellow packs and ALWAYS find the pink packets in the room and at various restuarants.

The store has bread, bagels, muffins, bologna, etc. in a fridge case like a grocer. Nothing has a price on it - so ask if you don't want to freak out.

If you do not have a fridge a cooler would probably suffice.

that's great about the delivery - I'll check into that again. Thanks! And thanks for the other continued replies as well!

The Screen Door across the lake at the Boardwalk also has some groceries. I know they have milk because my in-laws absolutely need to have milk in the morning and even paid the Disney prices for it. Also, the Swan has a nice gift shop as well. You have five resorts around the lake - one of the shops is bound to have what you want.

Oh - and if you walk beyond the Boardwalk and across the street - there's a Hess gas station with a convenience store there. Better prices but a bit of a walk.
