Yacht Club or Beach Club

After reviewing our vacation plans, we decided to stay at the YC/BC. We would prefer the Yacht Club, but they don't have any standard view rooms available, only water view. The Beach Club does have a standard view, though. Both resorts do have concierge garden available, but I don't think we'd get enough use out of the concierge to make it worth the extra this time.

We won't be spending much time inside the room, so the view doesn't mean a whole lot to us for this trip. Should we stay at the YC with the water view, so we can stay at the resort we'd prefer? Or, should we stay at the Beach Club for the lower room rate? We stayed at the Beach Club in 2002, and really enjoyed our stay, so it wouldn't be any problem to stay there again. But, the chance we may get a standing room only balcony (we had one last time) or one of the smaller inside corner rooms, kinda makes the place a little less desireable.

So, what do you think? Thanks! ;)

Hey Cali D!!:wave2: :teeth:

I agree with floridafam: do the Yacht Club!! Keep checking for the times you're going...there are always cancellations occuring! :hyper:

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YC RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a Yacht Club water view this past August and it was wonderful!

It was so relaxing to sit out on the balcony at night and look at the lake and Boardwalk, plus we had a view of the Illuminations fireworks.

Hey!
I just realized that this isn't a "POLL"?
;)

Cali...what's up?
I was getting to like all those Poll thingies you've been doing!:cool1:

BT, should I post a poll? LOL I know we don't need a concierge room, but I'm *still* questioning the resort! Arg.

Have stayed at both the YC and BC, I have to say that I strongly preferred the YC. I felt it was much quieter, and I really liked the slightly more formal feel.

The Yacht Club is always our favorite. We have the luxury that if it's no available one weekend, we just wait since we live about 3 hours away. While we've stayed at the Beach Club numerous times, we strongly prefer the Yacht Club. Not only do we love the atmosphere better and it really does seem to be quieter, every rooms does have a full size balconey.

IMHO There is nothing better then A Yacht club waterview!!!!! :sunny:
But if it is alot more then a standard Beach is pretty also and closer to Epcot!! :)
