yacht club in aug

Hi,
Looking to see if anyone has tried to get a room at yacht club the last week of aug? They only have club levels available during that time. Is there something going on there that would keep us from getting a regular room. I am just wondering if they are doing a refurbish or something.

The Yacht Club is not undergoing a refurbishment in August, it is just popular. There was a travel agency that was offering some great package deals to the Yacht Club, which I think may have helped to fill it up. You may want to check out the thread dedicated to the Yacht and Beach Club.

I don't know if anything is going, but if you are trying to book with a discount, one possibility could be that the standard rooms may just be booked already, leaving only CL rooms. I would keep trying, though, as sometimes you might find availability at a later date.

I agree with the above poster. The Standard rooms usually go quick. It is a busy resort with the pool and location convenience, so that may be an issue too

I agree.. the first day rates came out for AP in June, Standard was gone..a few days later, they popped up again. back and forth a few times till they are now solidly gone

Well, I know it is more expensive but....... you can use this as an excuse to stay club level. I have never stayed club level there before but my doctor rant and raves about club level here, and he has stayed at several deluxe resorts. This one with club level is his favorite.

Stayed at Beach Club in late August. That whole Epcot Resort Area is a popular complex, and CL's are even more popular, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were nearly booked. Try what the above posters said. I agree.
