I'll admit that I haven't been reading the restaurant boards for long, but I haven't seen anything about the Yacht Club Galley and I'm looking for any feedback. I need to find a TS meal in the boardwalk area before 4pm and my travel companion (DMom) was turned off by the description of Beaches and Cream as "very noisy." I'm intrigued by a brunch at Cape May Cafe, but she would prefer lunch over breakfast, so I'm curious about YCG.

Is the food any good? Nice atmosphere? Good calm tasty meal for our last day or a waste of time and money? Anything?

YCG is a good restaurant. It's fairly basic, not overly themed, but I've always had good service and food there. In fact, I prefer their burgers to the ones at Beaches and Cream. I think it's a little more basic because it caters a lot to the convention crowds. The last time I ate lunch in there (February), I got in as a walk-in just before a convention let out for their lunch break. The place filled up in minutes! The one meal I haven't tried in there is breakfast.

We've skipped it on every stay at YC and BC - nothing special about it screams out "EAT HERE" to us.

We ate there a few times during our trip in December. It is basic food, and fairly basic theming, but the service we had was wonderful (all the waiters/waitresses very attentive and friendly). The burgers are indeed very good. The breakfast (at least when we were there) had both a buffet and an a la carte menu, you could choose either. I don't know as I would make a special trip there but if you are at YC or BC I would go.
