Is a ts worth it at this restaurant? Going during f&w and the picking are slim at this point. thanks

I have had breakfast and lunch here, but not dinner(yet!). I was really pleased with both , and would return.

I have had breakfast there, cheerful and pleasant cm's, good food.. We have had dinner there as well, it is decent food....we have always liked it for the convenience..

We always have breakfast here -- it's not so well known, so it's not very crowded, but breakfast is fantastic here.

We went there for dinner. I LOVED the Spinach and Artichoke Dip Appetizer. DH had the crab cakes and thought they were good enough. For entrees, DH had the top sirloin- thought is was o.k. but nothing special. I had the herb-roasted chicken with mashed potatoes, and I bet it would have been good, but they kind of forgot to cook it all the way through and when I cut into it, blood came out! I returned it, and munched on more of my yummy flatbread that came with the artichoke dip. By the time I got my entree, my DH and my DS were done with their meals, and I was full off the appetizer. We both had the blueberry cheesecake which was great and my DS had the HCOE puzzle- which he LOVED.

I think that if the pickings are slim, I probably wouldn't do it again anyway. But, I'm sure the bloody chicken kind of ruined the experience. However, the visit to the Yacht Club Resort was well worth it. Beautiful place!

Hope this helps you decide. I think that if you don't have many options, this restaurant would be an o.k. choice. I'm sure my experience was not the norm!

Good Luck!

Thanks everyone for your help. Maybe I'll try to wait for a table at espn and use this as a backup. Always had great meals here. The only thing is they don't take reservations.

we dined at the Galley in May for dinner and was quite surprised that it wasn't very busy at 6 p.m.
We were serenaded by our server when she found out it was our anniversary (she sang us a Morracan love song).
DH had the steak which he proclaimed very tender, but he didn't really like the glaze, and I had the chicken (which was perfectly cooked) and very tasty. The cheddar mashed potatoes were wonderful. The highlight for me was the dark chocolate mousse. YUM!!! We weren't sure befor dinner if we would going to like it, but really did and will be returning in December.

We really enjoyed their breakfast when we ate in November of 2004. VERY quiet and relaxed, for a WDW restaurant. The buffet was very good but, IIRC, you could also order off a menu if you didn't want the buffet.
