I am not at all familiar with this restaurant (or this resort for that matter) and it was one of the only restaurants that could accommodate our party of 8 for dinner on the night of our arrival. I went ahead & made the ADR since I was unsuccessful in finding any other resort restaurant that could accommodate us at a reasonable dinner hour. The CM told me that she had heard good things - can anyone on here fill me in or provide me with more information? Have you eaten here? If so, tell me about it! PLEASE?!

Thanks in advance!

We ate there last year, and it was good. Not fabulous, knock your socks off...but good. I had a mushroom swiss burger and fries and the kiddos had a burger, too. My DH had a seafood pasta that he said was way too fishy.

It was a nice, cool, quiet restaurant that I thought was enjoyable.

Ate there in 2004.
Food was fine. Nothing very memorable about it, either way. It was a decent meal. We tried it b/c we didn't have ADR's anywhere for lunch, and B&C was packed.
We would go back, if the same situtation arose.

I think the food was fine and the service is good as well. I have had dinner there as well as the breakfast buffet....it is decent food for the money..

Hope you enjoy it.

We ate there in 2005 and really enjoyed it as the restaurant wasn't overly busy. There was a big table of say 20 adults and children and they looked like they had a great time. The food was very tasty and service good as well :) We would definitely go back again.

The YC Galley's a lot like the Grand Floridian Cafe: sit down with high expectations and you're sure to be disappointed, but if you lower them you'll get a nice surprise. The service is brisk, the familiar items prepared with a twist.

We like the YC Galley. The food and service is good.

We enjoy the YCG. Every time I have been there it hasn't been crowded, making the service at your table very good. They even packed our desserts to go last year. The food was pretty good, but on the first night, we were just happy to sit down and have a nice meal together!

We had stayed at the YC ten times before our trip in Feb 2006 and had never eaten at the Galley. On that Feb 2006 trip (also staying at the YC), for the first night there, I failed to make ADRs, so the only place we could get in was the Galley. I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a roast chicken with white cheddar mashed potatoes that was wonderful. Service was also quite good. I would not put it in my top 5 of dining at WDW, but it is defintiely a place that I would go back to.
