Okay, I am finally staying at the YC concierge! :D Unfortunately, it took hurricane Jeanne to close the Vero Beach Resort in order to finally do it.

We have a water view concierge room booked.
I would like to ask some of the YC pros if there is any special room, or particular view I should request.
Also, is there any inside tips or info that I should know?

Any and all YC info is appreciated!
Thanx!...

Sorry I can't help you, hurricane Frances kept us from Disney and our first stay at YC concierge water.

I'm sure you'll love it!

Anything from about 5215 to 5241 is a great room. These rooms are a little bit of a walk from the elevator, but they give a great view of SAB, the Boardwalk, Epcot and parts of the Illumination fireworks. Some of the water view rooms actually overlook the YC courtyard (which view also includes the Boardwalk and, from some of the rooms, parts of Epcot). While these views are nice, I prefer the rooms I referenced above and the view you get from there.

MG, when are you going? We'll be staying at the YC cl for the first time in December. The girls in IPO have been amazing to work with. Probably the best pre-planning service that I've ever received from Disney. The link that was given for the floor plan is excellent. I've been pulling it up nearly once a week now trying to decide where to stay. I thought the hallway by the Admiral Suite looked pretty good too.

We stayed at YC Concierge in a water view room last year.

We had room 5229. The room decor looked brand new and was very clean.

We had a great view of the Boardwalk and Illuminations.

We were very happy with how quiet our room was. We weren't in the 1st hallway near the concierge lounge. The walk wasn't that far and the silence was worth a few extra steps.

Our room had 2 queens and a daybed.

Enjoy!

Thanx for the info! I will take notes from this thread, and bring them with me.

TammiMcMan, we will be checking in October 24th, for four nights before moving to VWL.

I really like the area near the Admiral Suite. I figured if the view and area was good enough for the Suite and then I would like it. I like the quietness of that area. I liked having access to the stairway, a very quick way to get on the walkway to the boatdock. The view of France and the International Gateway were fab, and so were the fireworks and the view of the Boardwalk. Close to elevators and lobby but not so close as to be bothered by noise. Enjoy your stay, its a magical place.
