We have a garden or woods view. Are there rooms that might have a firework view at all?

No. There is pool view or lagoon view. Both categories are under "water view". If you have a specific preference for one of the two you can request it.

Unless the new fireworks go very high, there were never fireworks views there.

We have had garden view the past 3 visits and the room faced away from Epcot.

Water View rooms facing Crescent Lake in the YC wing closest to Dolphin have excellent views of Harmonious pyro. I was in one when they began surprise testing in early June. Pyro in that show is bigger and higher than Epcot Forever.

Not all water view rooms at the YC have a view of the Epcot fireworks. We had a water view room that was located above the lobby exit door on the lake side of the resort and you can see that the building blocked the view to the left. It might have had a view of the Hollywood Studios fireworks, though.

If your garden view room faces the inner courtyard, by the main lobby, you could very well see fireworks from your balcony!
