Yacht Club, Beach Club & Beach Club Villas ~ Post All Your Photos!!!!

so the Beach club studios have not been updated in a long time? I have no interest in BLT, the Beach club looks beautiful to us, so we were wondering how the Studios look lately??

The pics posted a few posts up on the page before this (page #84) are what the BCV studios currently look like. The newest ones are AKV-Kidani and BLT, but since you have no interest in those, you may want to check out SSR. Those are pretty new as well, or even OKW, whose villas were recently refurbed and are similar to the Beach Club.

we are going to go with either Beach club studio, or AKL Jambo house studio. At $7.00 per point we can't go wrong...will make a decision very soon! We like the location of Beach club, and love the atmosphere of Jambo house. We do not like the locations of SSR or OKW. if the pull out sofa is uncomfortable I'll let the boys take the bed! We stayed at the Cont. once and it was not for us, so my DH would not be on board for BLT EVER! thanks for the info and pics !!!

Wow! $7 a point is a great deal! Congrats on that one! I'm sure the sofa beds will be satisfactory, although I've never slept on one at either of those resorts, so I couldn't say for sure. My whole family, including myself, LOVES AKL and it is definitely the family favorite. My personal favorite is the Yacht and Beach Club, so I feel that either way you are making a great choice. The location of the Beach Club really can't be beat, and the awesome atmosphere and lushness of AKL is truly like an African paradise. I agree about the Contemporary and BLT, though. I personally like them, but my Mum doesn't like the modern atmosphere. She prefers unique places or victorian charm. Hope you have an excellent stay at Jambo or the Beach Club and have a magical time!

can anyone direct me to where I would find photos of the studio at the Beach club villas?? We are thinking of renting points from a friend for April 12 and especially if there are no discounts out for regular rooms this may be a great way to stay somewhere nicer for the cost of a mod. Thanks to anyone that can help!!!!

There are also some photos on page 1 of the BC/YC FAQ thread. Click on the link in my signature. The BCV section is the 8th or 9th post on page 1. There is also a lot of info on the thread, and a lot of experts who would be glad to answer your questions. I have only stayed at the BC resort, so I have no direct experience with the villas, but as other posters have indicated, the location of the BC/YC/BCVs are just incredible!

Well this was 2007, and it sounds like they still are pretty much the same. I can say the sofa bed in this pic was the "newer style"-where you pull on that black strap on top, then it all pulls over into the bed-and it was quite comfortable, much improved anyway.

Great deal @$7 per point, my sister is charging us $8 to rent her points (maybe she'll price match lol). We are staying at BCV Studio May 16 -24, 2012. Let us know where u decide to stay and post some pics if you stay at BCV.
