the coach is saying he's out, at this point.

i'm pretty upset about it. i loves me some david villa.

hopefully, he'll be feeling better.

but spain isn't a team of eleven. past the starters, there are amazing subs who can still play some pretty awesome futbol waiting on that bench.

I'll be rooting for Germany because I think I'll end up watching the game with Tim, our foreign exchange student from Germany. He isn't staying with me, but a group of us is going to watch it at a friend's house, hopefully. It's still kinda iffy on if it's happening or not. Carles Puyol is actualy married to my mom's cousin. My mom has met him, but I haven't. It was also thought that we are related to former Spain player Luis Garcia, as he is from and has the same last name as my grandfather and his family.

I didn't listen to post game, but I'm really hoping David Villa will play. I like both Germany and Spain, and I'm mostly Spanish and German. But Spain are my favorites. It's one of those where you want both to win, but if either win I'll still be happy. I'll admit I'll be a little upset if Spain doesn't win, but it's all good.

i deeply dislike germany and i really want spain to win.
but even if its a massacre not in spains favor, i know the game will be fantastic, because both teams are strong and really want this cup. they've both put up a great fight so far, and i'm looking forward to seeing the end of it.

ugh. i was really hoping i heard wrong. you konw it must be killing him to not play in the final.

but spain won the semi basically without him. i think they'll only bring it more, because they don't have him to rely on.
