It's a 60 Minutes piece about Orange Count,. Florida and the impact of Walt Disney World.. It's from June 1972.

It is always interesting to see how the State has been impacted by WDW.

Walt Disney considered Florida due to the fact that we already had tourists coming down here for the beaches and warm weather. Plus after WWII many former GI's brought their families here after being stationed here. There also an interesting story about him considering building his theme parks in Wakulla up here. I can't think of any substantial evidence I have on that.

But Orlando and Orange County is more central
