Thom Bierdz (Phillip) is returning to the show for a number of episodes some speculate that his appearance could have to do with Chance's storyline/exit

Jerry Douglas (John) is back for an episode in September, he's probably back to be Jack's conscience again

EMMY winner Maura West (Carly) on ATWT's has been cast to play the next Diane Jenkins! She starts taping Sept. 1 and her first show airs Oct. 8. The last show of ATWT's airs in late September.

I love Maura West, but I,too, think she is too young to play this character. She will be a good match for Jack, though. (another Jack)

Christine's necklace yesterday at the opening looked like it was a bunch of shivs. Don't think she could wear that to the courthouse.

And Mary Jane had so many Patty mannerisms today. In the past she played less animated than Patty. Today she was as twitchy as the crazy character.

•Adam tells Skye and Vance that he did confess all to Sharon the night of the ball
•Christine and Paul explain and apologize to Nina about the kiss she saw last night
•Nick tells Sharon she has to testify against Adam, she should do it for their daughter
•Heather, Ronan and Sid try to get Chance in an isolated cell. He's being too stubborn
•Vance plans to rip Sharon apart on stand even risking her losing Faith, Adam warns against it
•Adam and Skye get into a fight about Sharon, he says this is not a game and Skye won't win
•Nick becomes arrogant thinking Sharon's worries about testifying have to do w/ her feelings for him!
•Sid is shown talking to an inmate about a plot to kill Chance while he's in jail!!
•Skye and Vance are shown talking, she tells him to go after the ***** when she testifies at the hearing
•Adam tells Sharon that he supports her in telling the truth at the hearing, this is no setup

Next - Nikki is getting annoyed with Meggie; Sharon tells Nick she needs protection from him and Adam!!

Sharon holds Adam's fate in her hands this week when she prepares to testify against her nefarious ex

"Adam confessed that he stole Faith and gave her to Ashley. So Sharon knows all this information but she is torn what to do. Sharon doesn't really want to hurt Adam, her feelings for him are still there regardless of what happened"

Sensing Sharon's conflict, Nick reminds Sharon of everything Adam has done to the people Sharon loves. "I think it's good that Nick does that" asserts Case "It often happens in life: You fall in love with somebody head over heels and then they hurt you and you break up, but you tend to romanticize the good times. Having Nick in Sharon's ear reminding her of the bad things Adam has done is good for her. It gives her the focus she needs"

Adam gets to say his piece to Sharon too, "Sharon tells Adam that she is going to testify" says Case "And he gives her the okay to do it. She really appreciates that he takes that position and is impressed by it. She's impressed that he'll take whatever is coming to him. He doesn't want Sharon to get on the stand and lie, That would be wrong"

So Sharon heads to the stand with Adam's reassurance that Vance won't steamroll her unaware that Skye has told the attorney to after her with everything he's got. "Sharon's being careful and trying to stay focused" "She really doesn't want to hurt Adam but at the same time she doesn't see any reason why she should get up on the stand and lie for him. Sharon knows she has to go up there and tell the truth. Its going to ultimately hurt Adam, and it might send him to prison for life and that's not what she wants but its what she must do"

There's also a bit about Nick wanting to reconcile with Sharon:

Moments before Sharon's courtroom confession, Nick suggests he and Sharon might reconcile now that Phyllis has left him and Adam will be off to jail. "It's bold of Nick to say" "Why would she go running back into his arms? So that she can have another knife in her back?" Case is delighted that Sharon takes a firm stand and isn't following Nick around like a lovesick puppy anymore. "She did that for years and always got a knife in her back. Nick left her for Phyllis a few times. The first time was bad enough. Then Nick and Sharon got back together, she was having his baby and he left her to go back to Phyllis again. That was so mean. When somebody's treating you badly, and they repeatedly do so, then don't be with that person. Take responsibility for your own life"

Okay why is Patty calling herself Mary Jane and why is that name so familiar to me....my brain is tired tonight and I keep repeating the name over and over but cant connect the dots...

hehehe yes I just figured it out after I made the post....she played Mary Jane Bensen.....how the heck did she get where she is and change so fast back into MJ not to mention a hooker...or at least that seems to be her new profession.

But MJ was a business woman...not a bar hussy.

•Nick finds Sharon and Adam talking, Sharon snaps at Nick saying she needs protection from him and Adam is sorry she ever let her guard down with both. Nick is kicked out•Adam overhears Skye and Vance still planning to attack Sharon, he makes it clear to both to not touch Sharon. Skye and Vance warn what could happen once Sharon testifies but Adam orders Vance to leave Sharon alone•Nikki believes Meggie has taken advantage of the kindness she's recieved and confronts her now doubting if Meggie was ever in danger. Meggie leaves a note saying she's leaving, Nikki tracks her down and finds Shaw trying to kidnap Meggie, she knocks him over the head with a glass pitcher! •Tucker surprises the Abbotts by flying Traci out so she can support Ashley during Adam's hearing. Abby calls a truce w/ her mom for the time being, Traci tells Ashley that Abby is still a scared little girl but doesn't want to show that side of her. Ashley tells Traci she's worried Tucker may learn of her past (her losing her marbles)•Neil is disrespectful towards Sophia during a meeting. Neil and Sophia meet up at Cane and Lily's (the twins are home), Malcolm confronts Neil for being an *** to Sophia, Neil apologizes once he learns Sophia helped Cane stay in Genoa City•Sharon takes the stand and testifies about her relationship with Adam, his confession during the plane crash and later at the ball. Sharon says Adam admitted to everything he put her and Ashley through. Vance wants to go after Sharon warning that Adam is doomed otherwise, but Adam says his mind is made up

Next - Sharon tells Nick she told the truth on the stand and asks what the hell is his problem; Ashley is now testifying, her past is brought up but this time it is about her deceased son Robert and how she lost her mind then; Jill confronts Tucker thinking that he has backed out of his end of their deal

•Vance doesn't cross examine Sharon leaving many wondering why, Victor is proud that Sharon told the truth but he warns her to always remember the pain Adam has caused and what a evil person he is•Ashley takes the stand, she testifies about her abortion, losing Robert, her miscarriage, Adam dressing up as Sabrina, her hysterical pregnancy and the number of times she has been institutionalized. In the end, Ashley is in tears and her brothers are upset. Ashley sees Tucker, he's heard everything about her past•Abby takes the stand, doesn't take long for her naked heiress portrayal to be brought up; Jack takes the stand, he's confronted about setting Adam up with the diary; Victor takes the stand, he didn't help Ashley and disowned Adam; Nick is last, accused of never liking Adam and being pissed that Sharon and Adam married•Jill tells Victoria she was the one who snooped in Billy's computer and found out about the bribe, Billy fired her. Later, Victoria tries to apologize to Billy but Billy is pissed that Victoria so quickly believed her father over him.•After Jill confronts Tucker, he gives her the help she needs. Ashley shows up and tells Tucker she didn't want him to know about her past fearing he wouldn't think she's capable of being CEO of Jabot. Tucker doesn't hold Ashley's past against her. •Abby is worried about Ashley and didn't know so much about her past. Abby wants to help her mom, Traci tells Abby not to give up her intentions of going after her inheritance or her reality show but at the same time show her parents how much she loves them. •Jack and Victor tell Nick to leave Sharon alone after they learn he accused Sharon of promising something to Adam in return if Vance didn't cross examine Sharon on the stand. Later, Sharon tells Adam thank you for keeping his word

Nina thinks about her missing son on his birthday, Nina wishes she had done more to track him down and despises Rose for what she did Christine wants to tell Nina the truth, Ronan refuses and says Nina was never a mother to him. He wants his b-day to be kept a secret Chloe goes to see Chance in jail, she knows he's not a dirty cop. Chance gives Chloe drugs to keep for him, she refuses to help him get killed Victor is shocked to hear Nikki's a hero. Meggie wants a job so Nikki hires Meggie as her assistant and is impressed to see Meggie's skills at work Neil finds out Tucker is after Beauty of Nature and knows about Victor's bribe. Neil warns Tucker and Sophia about whom they're dealing with Chloe tells Ronan about Chance trying to give her the drugs, he tells her she needs to go back and get the drugs and bring them to him Heather goes to jail, Chance gives the drugs to her. Chance gets bail, refuses to leave, there's an explosion. Chance is ok, Heather hugs him, Chloe sees Sid is shown in a van during a stakeout, Owen meets him, they are working together. Owen tells him next time, do the job right! (Killing Chance) Chance tries to talk to Chloe and says he can't leave his mom b/c of its the b-day of her missing son, Chloe brushes him off. Heather makes her move Chloe tells Ronan that Chance was almost killed and the tramp running into his arms. Chloe learns its Ronan's birthday but doesn't put the clues together

Next - Flashback of Adam and Hope; Skye tells Adam that they have an arrangement, his name and her money and he is not backing out now; Adam has another day in court
