Y&R take 3 - SPOILERS inside

I agree completely about Adam's sins being worse than the others. Phyllis and Michael did what they did while obsessing over someone-for their own sick version of love. And Kevin's abuse made sense (and he is just so darned cute). But Adam's crimes seem so much worse. Ashley loved him, was so good to him, and he targeted her to get back at Victor and Jack. She and Sharon were total innocents in all of it, and of course Faith was.

If he was going to be redeemed, I can't imagine why he is targeting Patty right now. Is he trying to make her confess because she did it, or is he trying to make her think she did it. I guess that will make all the difference in the outcome of the story for Adam.

It is a big possibility that Patty did do it.....but I dont think so. Mostly since she said yesterday that she didn't do it when Adam was playing his twisted games with her thinking she was hearing voices.

It is very possible that Adam didn't do it or Patty but someone else there that had a grudge against Adam...or better yet the DA.....or the crooked cops, maybe Adam found out something about them or saw a drug trade and made some kind of deal with them that if they did something for him he would keep his mouth shut.....ans the whole game came into play....so they(the cops ) wanted him dead to shut him up but they killed Hightower instead...

....I want to see Adam fried and sent to prison....for 5 years for the stuff he has done if he did not murder anyone......than if they want to bring him back redeemed than so be it....you know like they did with Michael.

To me that is the only way they can redeem him.

Victor has also done many many evil bad things.....and he got away with Murder...after all they dont call him RUTHLESS for nothing.

So who do you think killed Hightower?????????

I just don't know. With the current writing, I can see it being part of the mama bear story, so Ryder or Daisy (or Sarah) could have done it. I don't think it is going to be Adam, but don't want it to be Patty either. Sometimes I still think the writers are changing the story as they go (like I'm almost sure they did with the painting/mama bear crap-I think it was supposed to be a completely different story at the beginning) and the Chance/Heather stuff. I'm just holding me breath for whatever history rewrite we are going to get with Cricket's return.

I was actually thinking about Victor's distant past, with Julia and Paul, after that last post. That seems to have been totally forgotten. Adam's sins are still too fresh, though.

i have to remember to delete everything off my pvr and stop recording the repeats of everything so i can record all the Y&R's while i'm away

this week won't be a big because todays show is your mondays and fridays show i can see on another channel on monday so i'll only miss tues wed and thurs but when we head down to the states in 2 weeks for 2 weeks i'll have to record it all.

i miss christine - i know most of you guys dont but she's the big portion of storylines i watched when i first started watching Y&R in the 80's.

her Tracy and Lauren with Danny, Nina, Phillip all those stories. i miss them.

•Tucker shows Ashley the sex tape of Abby and Daniel, she's disgusted. Ashley confronts Abby, shocked that her daughter could do something so trashy. Things get worse when Abby creates a scene by jumping into the Chancellor pool for the cameras•Billy leaves the 4th of July bash to join Victoria back at his trailer, they are watching a marathon of Father Knows Best, Billy thinks its a joke but Victoria's serious. The power goes out, Billy comes out as the father from Father Knows Best, him and Victoria basically have fun•As if one scene wasn't enough, Jill reveals to everyone that she's now a Fenmore legally. Nikki confronts Jill about what she did and tries to get her to see Lauren's side of things, she gets nowhere. Jill is then confronted by Lauren who reminds her she was raised by the Fosters, but Jill is determined to claim her real identity•Adam once again haunts Patty, he has a flashlight in her face and tells her she'll go to hell for what she did. He tells her that she killed him, she stabbed him and had blood on her hands. Patty keeps denying everything but then has a flashback of her standing over Hightower's dead body and her hands bloody. Later, Patty is a wreck and says she'll confess while Adam is arrested for conspiracy

Next - Lily's last hope for survival is from her children; Owen gets Patty's confession; Adam and Nick come face to face in jail

The DA killed Hightower. Adam was blackmailing him about the drug ring, and he killed Hightower thinking he was Adam. Adam saw it, and set up Nick.
***I think Adam was planning to do this, and set up Nick all along, but no telling what the writers are going to do now!

•Malcolm and Devon are doing a photoshoot of Abby for Restless Style, but she wants to do things her way which pisses off Billy. Abby asks that Daniel be a part of the shoot, Billy says he'll give Daniel a photo assignment for the next issue and begs him to help out (Billy is losing his patience with his niece)
•Lily asks Mac to be there for her twins if this last resort to save her life doesn't work, Mac promises. Lily begins the stem cell infusion from her twins umbilical cords while Mac confides in JT about missing the twins already -- starts showing symptoms of postpartum depression
•Patty confesses to murdering Hightower, starting the explosion she reveals details that we didn't see Adam tell her but Paul is convinced that Adam put Patty upto this. Meanwhile, Michael smirks with confidence as he gets Nick released on bail. Then there's Victor who hires the worst lawyer for Adam, Adam fires him! Adam tells Billy if he wants a story then he has to make Rafe his lawyer!

Next - Adam asks Sharon if she believes him when he says he didn't kill anyone; Emily asks Patty if anyone forced or threatened her to lie about killing Hightower

•Mac confides in JT about how stupid she was to think that she could give up those twins so easily, she carried them and bonded with them. Mac worries what the future holds. Meanwhile, Lily still in the hospital learns that her father sold Indigo and broke up w/ Ashley. Lily thinks what future holds for her•Sharon goes to jail thinking it was Nick who wanted to see her, but it was Adam. Sharon thinks Adam is still lying to her, but then learns Patty confessed to murder, Adam acts surprised. Sharon asks Adam to leave her alone, Billy chases after her after convincing Rafe to see Adam (Rafe tells Adam to go to hell)•Billy questions Sharon as to why she stayed at the jail even after learning Adam tricked her into seeing him, Sharon says she was hoping that despite all Adam's done there's still part of him that's human. Sharon tells Billy the latest about what has happened w/ Nick, Adam and Patty's confession. Billy uses it to his advantage•Jack is against Emily helping Patty in anyway due to what Patty did to her, but Emily says she'll do it. Emily vists Patty and learns Adam was there at the psych ward and admits he could've got a confession out of her, but it is her who killed Hightower!

Next - Nick comes to see Sharon, she tells him to go home to his wife; Phyllis talks to Daniel about her marriage; Abby wants to see her magazine cover

- Heather tries to kiss Chance, but he stays faithful to Chloe.
- Chloe gets the wrong idea and confronts Heather.
- Chloe is deeply hurt but not surprised. She makes a stunning decision that could jeopardize her relationship with Chance.
- Phyllis is pouring her heart out to Jack about Nick. She tells him how she is not going to tolerate Nick chasing Sharon anymore.

Loved Victoria and Billy and the whole "Father Knows Best" scenario. I actually am old enough to have watched that show ...

I said a few pages ago that I thought the DA was in on the drug smuggling in the prison.....
