Big Trouble For the Newman Clan!
Victor and Nikki have --together and separately- faced more than their share of problems over the years. But this week, trouble on several fronts could destroy not only the popular pair but their entire family! Victor's actions on Billy and Victoria's wedding day don't exactly help unite the clan. Worse, there's Meggie on the sidelines continuing to push Nikki off the wagon, headfirst if necessary! At the same time, Victor's daughter Abby, makes a big decision about her lawsuit. Will what she does be the straw that breaks not only the camel's back but the bonds of the Newman family?
The Honeymoon's Over!
Most brides can look forward to champagne, toasts, slices of cake, dancing and the honey-moon suite after their I dos. Yet this week on YR, Victoria may be slipping into an orange prison jumpsuit rather than a silk teddy, thanks to the radical measures Victor has taken to keep her from marrying Billy. WIll Victoria have to choose between her father and the man she loves?
Father Knows Best?
Victor has never tried to hide his loathing for Billy. Still, his decision to turn Victoria in to the FBI for illegal bribery regarding the japanese department-store deal to prevent her from walking down the aisle with the rakish charmer sends shock waves through GC. Not surprisingly, Victoria is the last to believe dear old Dad could have been behind her arrest.
"When she's in jail and everybody is trying to figure out what happened, she still is trying to defend him a little bit," previews her portrayer, Ameilia Heinle. "She's like, You know, just because that happened, doesn't necessarily mean that my father was behind it." SHe is smart enough to know, deep down, that it was him, but she's in denial."
The dark-haired beauty is the only one in denial. Certainly, Jack has no trouble believing how low his rival would go, and gloats to Ashley that Victor's actions may actually help them in their bid to buy Beauty of Nature for Jabot. Even Nikki realizes that Victor was behind Victoria's torubles, and blasts him for his nefarious role, revealing that it was all for naugh -- Victoria and Billy managed to tie the knot before she was hauled off to the slammer!
Victor/Victoria
WHile Victor is admittedely unsettled that his scheme didn't work, he's even more surprised at his soon-to-be wife's defense of Billy. Indeed, Nikki doesn't pull any punches when she argues that she trusts Billy's love for Victoria more than Victor's love form his family. IN fact, because of this stunt, no one in the family will ever trust him again!
Later, Victoria can also be added to the list of family members, as she slowly concludes that her father was indeed responsible for her aborted honeymoon. "I don't think she's shocked exactly-- she knows what he's capable of," reflects Henile. "She's disappointed. It hurts her feelings a lot, but I don't think it ever shocks her anymore what he does."
Billy isn't shocked either --but he is furious! "this is not something that he would suspect would happen, but once it does, he realizes who it is behind it pretty fast, "explains Bily Miller.
Temper snapping, the hunk rushes out to the ranch for powow with his father-in-law. "He's mad, but he kind of wants to see firsthand who does this? Who behaves like this> and does that person fully understand the repercussions of his actions? Miller shares. He goes to his home to say, Look you moron, have you any idea what you just did?
It's rare to have anyone take such an aggressive stance against the Black Knight but Miller suggests it might be an ignorance-is bliss or of thing with his alter ego. "aside from the Newman/Abbott feud, what does Billy really know about Victor's personal life? Not much. So billy's going to go to him, man-to-man face to face saying , What are you doing? this is your daughter! and he won't make so much as a threat but a promise-- Don't try to hurt the people I love!
Papa Don't Preach
In his defense, Victor reminds his unwanted son-in-law what fatherhood is about. "He's like, When Delia wants to marry a moan like you, what would you do? Miller reveals. WHile Billy understands Victor's argument, given his past debauchery, he stresses that he's no longer the reckless cad he once was. WHen all is said and done, though, there's no middle ground for either man! Victor goes overboard, the emmy winner insists. "And at the end of the day, his daughter is an adult. She's been an adult for quite some time, and she's allowed to maker her own decisions."
That may be true, but there's no getting around the fact that VIctoria has always had daddy issues. Heinle, however, believes that her alter ego is finally ready to go against Victor, and dam the consequences! "In the past, with other relationships, she's hated riving a wedge between her and her father," she says. "it doesn't seem like she's ever married someone that Victor approved of, but this time she's had enough. She really, really, really loves Billy. She's made this choice of her own free will and she's happy about it."
Ah, but for how long? Victor vows that he won't rest until Billy & Victoria are heading for divorce court. And while he may back off more drastic measures, that doesn't mean he won't try to persuade Victoria to turn away from her new hubby. "Victor has always been able to manipulate her," acknowledges Heinle. "And when he lectures her about Billy, it's always the same thing -- that he's a womanizer, a gambler, a drunk -- and that rings true just a little bit. THose are not good qualities in a husband or a marriage!
"Victor will make Billy and Victoria's lives difficult," she predicts. Just how difficult? As fans are aware -- and Victoria and Billy would do well to remember-- he's not called ruthless for nothing!

Ronan is being arrested, Owen says its Ronan's word against his. As Ronan is being taken away he apologizes to Nina, Christine arrives and Nina realizes she knew the truth and this makes Nina angry Nikki confronts Victor for being a pigheaded, domineering (rhymes with vastard)! Victor admits he had Victoria arrested, it was for her own good this gives her time to rethink things but Nikki says Victor's plans failed and Victoria did get married. Billy and Nick are with Victoria at the police station, she's in denial that her father could do this to her but Nick and Billy know differently. Vance tells Victoria if she's convicted she could face upto 20yrs in jail. Vance is unable to get Victoria bail, her hearing isn't until tommorow. Paul tells Jill, Katherine, Philip and Murphy about Chance's death and Ronan being Nina's son. Christine arrives but is shut out by everyone since she knew the truth about who Ronan was Heather calmly talks to Ronan, she asks him to tell her what happened he says it was self defense and he had no choice. Heather leaves angry while Chloe confronts Ronan, she gets the same explaination and tells Ronan she wants to see him burn in hell. Ronan is sad. Michael confronts Phyllis for her actions lately, he's worried about her but she tells him not to be. Nick tells Phyllis he doesn't want to fight with her anymore, he just wants to do what is best for their daughter Nina confronts Christine asking when she found out about Ronan and how she could watch Nina talk about her son when she knew the truth all this time. Nina is grieving about one son killing the other and tells Christine it was not her place to talk to Ronan, Nina should've been given the chance but now she hates Ronan! Billy confronts Victor. Billy says he could never do to Delia what Victor did to Victoria, she respects and loves him and he hurt her. Victor brings up Billy's past, Nikki defends Billy. Billy tells Nikki he doesn't need anyone defending him, he can take it but no one will hurt his wife! Billy says Victor went after Victoria because it was safer, he knows Victoria wouldn't fight back but he is not afraid.

There was a spoiler saying that a major character would die. It was hard to assume that was Chance, because I didnt see him as a MAJOR character by any means.
Jeannie Cooper (Kay) said in an interview that she was pissed at the direction her character is taking. Basically saying that she hates seeing newbies get storylines while the established characters are left in limbo. Can't blame her there.

Y&R is currently shooting a natural disaster SL (I believe this one from the tweets I have seen from MM and DG working late nights in difficult conditions)There is a rumour that in today's CDN Y&R we find out Chance is not dead (I am not sure I believe this one but we'll know soon enough)Nikki was rumoured to have an affair with Deacon but this has not be clarified to Nikki and Deacon becoming close friends as they help each other through something - Deacon is suppose to leave at the end of this SL (I personally would have loved to see a drunk Nikki hook up with Deacon and ruin herself some more!!!)More on Deacon, his daughter Hope from B&B, will visit for a two week stint whilst her Dad does community service

wonder what will happen this time.
a gas explosion and building collapse???
a blizzard and someone falls through the ice?
a huge storm that knocks out power and someone gives birth in an elevator?
a tornado and someone gets hit hard in the head and loses their memory (please be victor......... again)
OH OH how about a major lightening storm and a plane crashes killing everyone except the characters we all like - bye bye heather (is that too much???)

I still believe that Chance is not dead and that him and Roanan are working together to bring them down. Roanan is looking so sad not because he killed him but because he did not and hates seeing what this is doing to the people Chance loves and that Ronan cares about.
If they dont get them all than Chance and Ronans lives will be at stake for the rest of there lives not to mention if they brought the 3 down that were in that building, others would still be out there able to get to family members. As Ronan has said all along....no one would be safe if they found out.
Also no news about Chance the real person leaving the show for good....and we all know we know this before hand. They said that a character dies...well he did....but when this happens we know a head of time that they are leaving the show and why.

Christine continues to face backlash over keeping Ronan's identity a secret, Phillip and Heather are the only ones to talk to her Jill and Nina are pissed off as they watch Owen and dirty cops tear Chance's room apart. And have I mentioned lately how much I can't stand Victor? He is so hypocritical it's ridiculous..
Nick is beginning to act just like his father as well.. They both need to get over themselves..
