Y&R take 3 - SPOILERS inside

Are we supposed to know the actor who is playing Adams lawyer? I've never seen him before and imo there is nothing special about him.

Eric Roberts debuts on July 23 as Vance Abrams, a high powered, ruthless attorney, who is hired to defend Adam, in a trial that will "rock Genoa City to its very core".
Eric is full of praise for Michael Muhney - oh my, I think their scenes will rock!
Is Vance a villain? ER says no, but he's certainly ruthless enough to get what he wants

When december posted this last week, I thought it was going to be Julia Roberts brother Eric Roberts. But that is not the Eric Roberts that his Julia's bro ... I have no clue who this guy is at all. AND today is July 12th.

Ok, edit ... I just googled it and he is suppose to be THE Eric Roberts that is Julia's bro ... but gosh, that sure does not look one thing like him IMHO!

I thought I heard that too, AND that is what december stated in her post but I really believe this guy today was not the Eric Roberts that is Julia's bro. Julia's bro, Eric has this very distinctive look and a very scruffy voice ... if that is really him, today, I am shocked.

And its July 12th not the 23rd ... this is confusing.

Wow, well I sure wish I had not erased it from my DVR as I would look at it again ... I actually like ER as an actor but I did not recognize him at all today. Now that being said, he was only on a few minutes but still ...

I'm watching today's now and that lawyer at the beginning at the bail hearing is NOT Eric Roberts. I'm 100% sure. So unless there's another court room scene, that is NOT Eric Roberts playing Adam's lawyer.

It is that Eric Roberts that is coming. Just read the above post, and I don't know who the guy was today. I'm still confused.

I don't think that was Eric Roberts on today's episode ... I read on Soaps.com that he is supposed to start of July 23 ... so maybe Eric will be taking over the part on the 23rd? ... just like when Y&R changed the actors who play(ed) Tucker ....

This is being discussed on several other boards, too. And everything I can find says ER starts on July 23. So we aren't the only ones confused!

This is in the CBS recap for today:
Skye introduces Adam to his new attorney, Vance Abrams. The judge grants Adam bail, but Skye will only post his bail if he marries her. Later, Skye informs Adam she posted his bail and arrives with a Justice of the Peace.

So I guess they replaced the lawyer after only a few days of taping?

•Skye and Nick figure out that Adam is w/ Sharon, he has Victoria and Billy babysit while he goes to find Adam and Sharon•Adam tries to explain to Sharon why he married Skye but Sharon is angry and isn't interested in what Adam has to say •Victor and Nikki evening at home is interrupted by Maggie, she is back and needs help. Maggie faints in Victor's arms!•Tucker checks in on Ashley after Adam's release on bail, Ashley is fine. They have dinner, then have sex•Daniel wants to take Abby up on her offer to paint her naked, she refuses at first but later shows up at his apartment•Jack comes to see Sharon but learns about Phyllis dumping Nick, he comforts her, they kiss but stop things from going further•Sharon gets annoyed w/ Nick and Adam. According to sources, Kristoff St. John will soon be exiting as THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Neil! "He got out of his contract," a setsider confirms to Soaps In Depth, adding that the actor has booked a role in a comedy pilot being produced by the Wayans brothers. St. John won an Emmy for playing Neil in 2008 — but hasn't had much to do in Genoa City since then. A spokesperson for Y&R reminds that the show does not comment on rumors.

So today I am watching Y&R and at the end in the montage of scenes and music ... I see Nick picking up the candle in the church and putting it back on its stand ... I totally did not see Adam punch Nick ... how did I miss that ... like my tv show did not show it and I even rewound the show after I watched Nick pick up the candle.

And Vikki, I would have THROWN that pink stuffed animal right at Sharon ... here she is watching her kid yet Sharon has to give her crap ...

Best part of Y&R is Vikki and Billy, really is the ONLY thing that keeps bringing me back.
