Has anyone enrolled their child in these programs? Since we are pulling DD out of school for 8 days we thought we would sign her up for a couple of these classes.Just wondering if your child liked them. She will be 11 so we are looking at the classes for the older age group.

We did one in WDW and liked it. My kids were 12 & 14. It seems to be well-balanced between instructional and hands-on. I think 11 is probably an optimum age for it. It's a great way to get a behind the scenes look and a fabulous ticket price. (Everyone in your party gets the discounted tickets.) Go for it! :thumbsup2

That looks so cool! That would be some great memories for a chld and a great chance to liven up learning. I think it's best for kids that are already familiar with DL so they aren't distracted. It would take their experience to a new level. :thumbsup2

Do you have to be part of a group? I think my son would love to do this, but the registration looks like it is only for groups. Anybody know if individuals can do it?

Just like a PP we did this at WDW with our kids (11 and 13 at the time) and loved it. Not only did we get discount park tickets for our stay, but we all got to participate together in the YES class. While it wasn't monumentally educational, we did get to enter a park before it was open and go briefly behind the scenes into a CM area. I highly recommend it - cheaper than a tour and equally as fun!

We have our daughter signed up for two of the October classes. Can't wait to check it out!

Did you do this? I was interested in hearing your review. I just saw there is a class offered and I am debating signing our two oldest up for it. What class did you do? Do the parents stay for the class as well? My oldest loves animation and drawing so that was the class I was most interested in. I would love to hear some reviews. Thanks!

I must be missing something obvious . . . but where are the dates on the Individual Enrollment page?

The link is in post #10 above.

My daughter has done 6 YES courses, and loved them all! The leadership class for teens was her favorite.

That is the link I clicked on and I still cannot find the dates . . . oh, brother!:confused3

I see the column for dates, but there is nothing in that column. Just blank space. Is that where the dates are supposed to be? Thanks for trying to help! :)

I do know that the parent stays for the class...We are going this Feb 16-22, and just last week I signed my DS9 (soon to be 10) up for both the science class on Fri Feb 21& the Art of the Disney Story( not sure I have title correct) on SaturdayFeb 22. My DS is very excited for the Art of Disney Story. They also have another class about California offered on Saturday. We are from Massachusetts but currently hold APs. We only paid $45 per class and they do offer discount tickets ...maybe $55? I do know they need a minimum of 10 kids to run the class, and I'm not sure they have enough kids yet. They said I would be contacted 2 weeks prior confirming if we were set to go. I have been thinking of this ever since I found out about YES, but could never seem to coordinate at either WDW or DL. I mean how cool to combine Disney with learning ?!.
