Y&B Club Level

Booked an 11 night (!!!) stay at WDW during the Wine and Dine marathon weekend (we are doing the 5K). My friend and I are trying to experience all of the resorts so we are doing a split stay between Yacht and Beach but both stays are club level. Anyone have any reviews? We stayed AKL club level in January and were OBSESSED with it...especially the quinoa oatmeal..

I stayed club level in January at BC. However my room wasn't on the actual club level because they didn't have any available. We still had lounge access and what not. The lounge is recently renovated as well as all of the rooms. I believe the YC lounge was also just renovated.

We have stayed at both BC & YC CL's. Both are nice, but we preferred YC between the two.

Our experience at BC was very likely clouded by the fact that when we stayed there, the CL lounge was being refurbished, so we were in a makeshift lounge in one of the Presidential Suites.

However, we liked that the bus picked up at YC first. We had several times where the bus would come get us at BC and was already full from picking up at YC, so we'd have to wait AGAIN for the next bus.

We preferred the decor at YC more, but that's just personal preference. Quite honestly though, the BC rooms were just refurbished so a newer room would probably win out for us at this point.

The food was the same at both, so that's a draw.

I have stayed in BC CL 3 times, but not since the renovation. I have an upcoming trip booked at YC CL for my 30th anniversary.

Here is the wrench... The YC lounge has been renovated, but the rooms on the 5th floor have not been started yet. We don't have any official news about when the work will start. My best guess is sometime in August. I have a YC CL reservation in October and I honestly don't know whether I will be in an room that is slated for update, a brand new room, or if my stay will be moved due to renovation.

In any of these scenarios I will make the most of it.

We've stayed at both before the renovations and the BC a couple weeks ago, after the lounge expansion (so no experience with the new lounge at the YC). We enjoy both and I have to add that the new huge lounge at the BC is a great change from our last visit there. There were also more and better food options up there (I believe that the 2 lounges have the same food), including a yummy oatmeal bar in the morning along with grits and a very nice quinoa/strawberry dish, among other things. I also love the lounge at AKL. The ones at the BC/YC don't have that same atmosphere (overlooking the lobby) but they are nice.
