xyron problems...has this ever happened to you?

I have bought a new refill for my xyron and it isnt working. The little wheels on the side of the refill arent catching on the machine. I have returned it only to find the same thing happening again. Anyone else have this problem and if so how did you fix it? Bumming out in Ohio........

I have had refills that will crank very hard or stick, but they still went thru the machine. I read on another board that that is a sign of an "old" cartridge, not sure if this is true or not.
