All the Canadians are taking there big sweaters off. I bet it is hot there with that thing lit. Those sweater are $79.00 , saw them this weekend. Not much Olympic stuff left anywhere though.

Maybe we'll be able to get them at Epcot! :thumbsup2

Thanks Boulder. I grew up in Colorado Springs, home of the USOC and went to the Seoul Olympics in 1988. Such a once in a lifetime event.

Can't wait until London in 2012.

Bay, we are looking to travel to Colorado Springs either this summer or next and visiting the Olympic Training Center. My DS11 is a wrestler and has dreams of going to the Olympics. Thought it would be great to visit the center in addition to Pike's Peak and of course travel up to Boulder! Love, love , love Colorado.

My DS also trains with Ken Chertow, 1988 USA wrestling Olympian. Must have been awesome to travel to the Olympics!!!!

How AWESOME that Ryan Miller stayed to take part in the closing ceremonies! I can remember past years when no hockey players would be there (mainly because the NHL starts up again tomorrow). Good for him!

Ryan Miller is a class act, through and through. And now, finally, the rest of the country gets to see what we've known for a while now :goodvibes

That was the longest national anthem ever.

Russia's, right? :laughing:I was making that comment to DH. "Love Russia and all, but I hope they don't win too many golds!"

Yes! I was doing some other stuff online at the time while it was going and was concentrating on what I was doing; it seemed like 5 minutes later, I looked up at the TV and they were STILL SINGING.

Lol, did Bob just say something about the presentation for Sochi demonstrating some of their accomplishments "in science and whatnot?"

that looks like fun (bouncing around in those big beach balls)

The USOC campus in on Boulder Ave in Colo Spgs.

Were going to the 2011 US Women's Open at the Broadmoor.

As for my attendance at the 88 Seoul Games, I was with the US Navy, protecting the games from any invasion of the boycotted nation of North Korea.

I'm going to miss these Olympic commercials! They are fantastic! All the ones with the moms...I'm not even a mom and they make me cry! And the ones Morgan Freeman narrates with the stories about individual athletes. Love them!
