My kids are DD19, DS17, DS6 who will all receive wonderful Xmas gifts! I am thinking about filling their stockings with things that are related to our WDW/Cruise trip in May? For the teens I would give things like travel sized necessities, ie.. Deodorant, toothbrush, tooth paste, razors, headphones, and a Disney gift card? I would put in more age appropriate things for DS6, but he would also get the travel things we need for him. I always pack new toothbrushes for a trip anyway, so it would take care of the stocking and save me money later on? After all they are getting a 19 day trip!

Seems a good idea to me. Let's find out what others say :thumbsup2

I would buy an autograph book for your 6 year old. There is almost always either a percentage off or free shipping on the disneystore.com. Especially with the theme park items. Maybe some clickable sharpies, also. I would also think about putting in some items to keep the kids busy during travel time. Seeing that you are going to for a long time (jealous!) I am assuming that you have either a long flight or roadtrip.

We are going for a large trip because we feel like it will be our last trip with the teens, at least until they have their own families! And we wanted to do the cruise, but couldn't pass on the new fantasyland! Lol.

We don't fly for too long, flight takes off from Buffalo NY at 6am and lands at 8:40am, I do have some color wonder type activity pads (Disney of course) for the 6 yr old! Plus he already has the leap pad 2 and games, and I have an IPad.

We are renting a house with a full size pool, so I assume they will swim during down time, plus the house has pool, ping pong, phoose ball (sp) etc, I doubt they will be bored, lol

I like the autograph book idea! Maybe I could order ears too, set them on top of the stocking? All the kids have stockings with big animal heads on them! Lol

Lanyards would be good. I have one I use in the parks and another that is waterproof that I use for pools/waterparks, would also be good for beaches on your cruise.

Disposable camera (at least for your little guy, I'm assuming the older kids have cell phones with cameras)

Yah, we are photographers and have lots of cameras! DS6 has a small inexpensive point and shoot he uses! :)

We did something similiar a few years ago. Instead of stocking stuffers I used disney recycle bags and they included the followings depending on age/likes
sun glasses, small individual sun screen, lip balm, laynards, tooth brushes, small case to wear around their neck to keep small things dry, disney beach towels, glow necklaces and bracelets, Disney gift cards, beach balls, other pool blow ups and small dive toys.

Some pirate items could be fun for pirate night and perhaps some pins to trade if you think they'd get into this. You can usually order of lot of pins on eBay for a much better price. Maybe a new tie with Mickey Mouse for formal night. Have a great trip

Yah, I love trading pins! That's a great idea. We have a tux for our DS17 and DS6 and are renting for my hubby? Idk where to get Mickey ties?

you could even pin the pins onto the stocking!

There are cute fleece disney throws on the disney store website, down to ten dollars and monogramed!

dont forget to save your pennies and quarters for the penny press, i'm sure you're youngest will have a blast doing that

Theres also a cute disney rubiks cube on the disney store website, everyone would have fun on christmas day trying to solve that!

Pennies. Bright shiney ones to be squished.

I always give the kids the tubes of mini M&M's just so we can carry our pennies and quarters inside the tubes for Disney! So I could put two tubes of candy in their stocking, and save the canister.

What about some ebags packing cubes or toiletry bags. My older kids really love these things. Plus they will be able to use them for years. Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful time.
