xmas decorations visit after chef mickey

We are planning a visit to chef mickeys on the 14th december and not going to the parks that day. We plan on seeing the decorations at other hotels.
We are a party of 8 with older teens with us staying for 15 days offsite at windsor hills.
can anyone offer us an itininery or where to research for this.
we will have the use of cars. I am sure there will be a logical system to seeing the other hotels as well as using disney transport.

For one,

Ride the Resort Monorail from Contemporary to the Grand Floridian.

It has some of the best lobby decorations and the full-sized gingerbread house.

Poly is also on the monorail, but it is not as spectacular as Floridian.

You need to take a BOAT (from MK or directly from Contemporary) to Wilderness Lodge.
WL has a huge towering atrium (it is a log cabin style, unlike the white clapboards of Floridian's) with a tall Christmas tree. You can sit and rock in front of the fireplace, too.

My next favorite resort for Christmas decor is Boardwalk.
You can take a bus to the Studios and ride to Boardwalk on a Friendship boat, or drive directly to Boardwalk and park in the guest lot.

While in that area, walk or boat to the Dolphin Resort and see the massive multi-story (Indoor) Christmas tree made of hundreds of potted poinsettias.
