Xmas Decor at Disneyland

Does anyone know which rides close for Christmas decorations and for how long they will be closed? I know that it's a small world goes down for quite awhile but what about the jungle cruise or anything else? Also, do they cover up the castle at all to put decorations up? Trying to plan a trip early November and it's very frustrating not knowing if certain rides will be closed or not. I'm assuming this happens every year so I don't understand why it's so difficult to find any info about this.

Haunted Mansion goes down at the end of August and comes back up end of September for the holiday makeover. It will change back in the beginning of January. Small World goes down in October and is usually up by the end of the first week of November. Jungle Cruise goes down for a few days and is usually ready by end of 1st/2nd week of November. Christmas decorations start going up towards the end of the Halloween celebration, and usually done by 2nd week in November. They do not close the castle during this time.

MaryJo did a great job summarizing the likely/historic schedule for the holiday decorations and overlays. I'd just note that Jungle Cruise closed for about 11 days in both 2014 and 2015 to install the more extensive Jingle Cruise overlay. It closed on 11/3/14 and 11/2/15 and re-opened on 11/14/14 and 11/13/15, respectively. The first year, when the decor was pretty minimal, it was only down for a few days, but now it's down for a longer installation time.
