Xmas deco off???

Hi all,

Just wondering....when do the Christmas motives come down? I am guessing the time varies, but when would there be no sign of them at all?

If you are arriving Jan 6, I doubt you will see any Christmas decorations. There may be some left in the resorts, but they will be gone from the parks.

Usually by the end of the first week of January, most or all of the decorations are usually down by then.

I was there this past Jan 9-14th and the only decorations I saw were some in the lobby of the Polynesian and the big light display over the walkway in Epcot. The walkway display was dismantled over two days.

It probably takes a couple of months to dismantle everything on Big City Street from the Osbourne Lights, but that should be the last to come down.

It is posted on disney.com, the decorations and Osborne display are up through Jan.8. We are arriving Jan.6 also. Glad the parks & resorts will still be decorated.

Last year we saw resort christmas decorations up through Jan 9th. The winter light arch in Epcot was up until later than that. By the time we left on the 17th pretty much everything was down

Thanks all! I had sooo hoped to be at WDW over the holidays...maybe another time, but didn't work out that way. Ultimately glad that we are going at all though Having at least a peek at the decos is merely a bonus!!!
