Is there really any big difference for sailing xmas day vs any other day in Dec.?

Santa is available in the morning and giving out gifts. Don't get too excited, it was a calendar. There was a table by guest services that had cocoa and cookies for you to help yourself. That evening I think there was a special dinner.

Probably what you and your family makes of it, just as at home. The opportunity to be with your family or solo in a place you find special or magical - with lovely decorations - can make for a great celebration.

In 2017, my family and I were on the Dream Christmas Day.
Snow was falling in the atrium. Several tables of Christmas cookies and hot cocoa were available. Santa and Mrs. Claus were also present in the atrium.
Families dressed in matching PJs and\or robes strolling in the atrium. Gift for DD was a Tervis style mug and each room received a large lithograph print of the Disney Dream.
Christmas Eve Service and Christmas Day Service in the Walt Disney Theatre.
Christmas Day menu attached.
We would sail on Christmas Day again!!!

We found it very festive and everyone seems to be in their Christmas outfits all day...also, we did the gingerbread house activity and it was quite fun!

Not sure if there were anything special for little children since ours were a bit older and were not in the Oceaneers Club. The Edge and Vibe didn't seem to have anything that was really festive planned but my kids spent the day with us...so not sure if there was anything in the club rooms.

There were treats everywhere!

Price is the biggest difference.

I'd assume some changes in Santa and other activities that match the other changes in character greetings, at least for Christmas 2021. Hard to predict 2022.
