xmas and new year meals

where are the best restaurants to eat at these times of year whe have 2 ps for xmas day 4.00pm at LTT and chef mickeys at 7.45pm we are looking to eat at canada at new year aprox time 8.00pm anyone with any better ideas. Also do they do anything special for new year in the restaurants
