Just got this the other day, an absolute fantastic product!!!!! Now I need to buy something that will allow me to listen to it in the house...

I love love love my XM radio! My favorite channels are 28 (Broadway), 27 (Movies), 31 (Christian Alternative), and 75(the Starbucks music channel).

I went with the SkyFi2, bought it at Target for $100.. Now need to decide if I want to get the home kit or the Delphi audio system...

If you have the sky-fi or sky-fi 2, you can buy a boom box thing that you insert your XM into and it WILL work in the house. We have one in our family room and listen to it all the time!

I got XM for Christmas and I wonder how I made without it for so long. I was also going to purchase a home kit until I learned I could listen to XM on my computer with Windows Media Player, so instead I got new laptop that I can bring anywhere with me.

I have a very nice home stereo, need to decide if I want to run it through there or thru the boom box that XM offers...

Will be interesting to see the long term effects towards the local radio stations..

I'm listening to XM right now on my computer. If you have Directv, you can also listen to it on there as well.

I will never go back to regular radio. A week or so ago we had some weather issues and I was listening to local stations and the commercials every 10 minutes drove me nuts.
Just think...there are almost 300 million people in the US now, right? And only 9 million have satellite radio (including Sirius). It's like being pioneers! My favorite channels are 70s, 60s,Top Tracks, the Fish, Broadway, the Blend, and sometimes Opie and Anthony (but never with the kids in the car). They like Radio Disney and DD#1 likes Highway 16.
I have a home kit but almost never use it now because I use the computer to listen and it is in the same room, although you won't get talk stations (Fox News, ESPN) on the computer.

I got one today for my boyfriend for Valentines Day.. I got him the SkyFi2.. I got a great deal at CompUSA.. The Sundays ad said it was 149.99 but you get a $30 mail in rebate for a final price of $119.99 and then Compusa is doing a deal right now where you can get a $25 Compusa card for buying an XM Radio.. So I thought this wasnt a bad deal.. I went in and bought it and it rang up $109.99!! I also get the rebate for $30 and the additional $25 from Compusa.. so altogether it cost $54.99 once I get my money back.. Not too shabby!! He has been wanting one really bad so he can listen to his Nascar this season..

Yay for XM! I was mad when our car only came with XM and not Sirius b/c I like to listen to Howard, but I find that I don't miss him at all! I love the 80's, 90's, blend, heart, cinema and broadway. Hubby and I like to listen to the comedy stations on the way home from work too. I love not having a ton of commercials!

Love XM! My favorite channels are the 40s, On the Rocks (online only, unfortunately), Radio Classics (Old Time Radio), Frank's Place, the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, Sunny, Vox, XM Classics, and XM Pops. I jump around to other channels a lot, as well.

DW got me the portable XM for christmas, and I listen to it pretty much constantly now. It's particularly nice where we live 'cause there isn't exactly a wide selection of stations to choose from on regular radio. I listen to the comedy channels a lot, plus Broadway, the Boneyard (for my 80's hairband flashbacks ), the 80's and 90's channels, some of the country (depends on what's on) and, of course, Air America when I'm in a political mood.
