I am an XM radio subscriber for two radios. I am considering adding the online listening. Can someone who is already an online subscriber tell me how much extra it costs per month and if you are able to, can you copy/paste which channels you get I would appreciate it. I used to listen online back when it was free and I remember some of the channels were not available online (like Extreme Talk 152), which I like to listen to. I am at work and don't have my account information or XM information to call them, and their websites does not give the channel lineup if you're not already an online subscriber. Thanks all.

XM Online mainly plays the music channels broadcast on Sirius/XM. The online service does not play the handful of music channels with commericials since Clear Channel owns a stake in those channels (and that's why they play commericals).

They also cannot play many of the talk/sports channels, because the owners of those programs already have online agreements with other service providers (e.g., Clear Channel Radio and mlb.com)

Thanks for the info. They did offer a free Iphone app last year for Sirius XM and I put that on my IPhone, but you had to be an online subscriber to have the app work. So, I know that XM 202, the Virus (all talk), was one of the channels that you were able to listen to online and with Iphone App. Any idea if this is still the case? I'm interested in that and the news channels mainly, MSNBC, FOX, CNN, etc. to listen online because they live stream the audio from the tv channels for the morning shows. Thanks for your response to this and another thread I had recently. Seems you, too, try to keep up on A/V, cellular, satellite, etc. information. Thanks again.

I have just found an online channel line up...not sure how current it may be.

Now, any one know what the monthly fee for adding online listening might be???

Not a problem -- always glad to help.

As for "The Virus" (Opie & Anthony), that is available online only because it is an XM-owned/produced channel (they were hired to "compete" against Howard Stern when XM and Sirius were still seperate companies). Even though I haven't had the online version of XM in some time, I suspect it's still there.

As for the news channels, they are not available in XM's online product, as they are owned by their respective service providers (I expect "XM Public Radio" to be an exception to that rule).

May I ask for a double check on the news stations. The channel line up I found this morning on XM website said they were available online. Just want to make sure I get them before I pay for online service. Whenever I speak to customer service there they have no idea what I'm talking about if I ask questions...they just can't go off their script.
