xm challenged installation

I bought the roady xt and paid for 3 months of service. I got in in my car and I'm all excited and I turn it on and nothing...hmmm, I'm thinking why isn't it working, it powers up and everything...and then I remember, its not hooked up to the speakers! Geesh. So, what do I need to purchase to get my dh to hook it up the speakers to this thing....just when I thought I could do this thing myself . I should've know better.

vehicle antenna
vehicle power adaptor
vehicle swivel mount
roady xt receiver
surface prep kit
vehicle vent mount
vehicle creadle
cassette adaptor (cannot use because my car does not have a cassette player)

I'm no techie...but it's the cassette that makes the sound go to the speakers. There is a way to have it somehow installed by a mechanic or whatever so you don't need the cassette adapter. But, in case you didn't figure out the basic problem yet, that's it. Good luck!
