I bought the roady xt and paid for 3 months of service. I got in in my car and I'm all excited and I turn it on and nothing...hmmm, I'm thinking why isn't it working, it powers up and everything...and then I remember, its not hooked up to the speakers! Geesh. So, what do I need to purchase to get my dh to hook it up the speakers to this thing....just when I thought I could do this thing myself :rotfl: . I should've know better.

Does that model have an FM transmitter?
This is what came with it:
vehicle antenna
vehicle power adaptor
vehicle swivel mount
roady xt receiver
surface prep kit
vehicle vent mount
vehicle creadle
cassette adaptor (cannot use because my car does not have a cassette player)

I'm no techie...but it's the cassette that makes the sound go to the speakers. There is a way to have it somehow installed by a mechanic or whatever so you don't need the cassette adapter. But, in case you didn't figure out the basic problem yet, that's it. Good luck!
