Xcaret question. ..

We are sailing at the end of April on the Magic, my dh ds 15 & dd 8. We're planning on going to Xcaret. But what in the world do you wear? Lol
I understand there is a ferry ride, then a bus, and with all the water activities a swimsuit with a coverup does not seem "right." What do most wear & or store their clothes? Thanks in advance!

I recall from our families visit there a few years back that there were lockers for a nominal fee. You could wear your clothes with suites under or whichever to your liking. you will have the oportunity to swim through a cave with lots of others just be careful cause everyone is kicking and in a one behind the other 8 wide setup. We enjoyed it very much because we were staying at a resort at that time and got to see the show at night which was awesome. The food we were served was not to our liking and was served near horse stables wich had an odor of horses. My girls flat out did not like the food but remember the swimming through the cave with a couple of fishes.

Swimsuit with cover up or clothing over swimsuit. They will lead you right to the lockers to change before you go to the river. The food must have changed because we went in 2014 and we were offered for our family, chicken and steak fajitas with homemade tortillas. It was delicious. We sat in a outdoor restaurant/ sports bar. It had an island style hut look but with big screened tv's. We had a view of the ocean. Also, I forgot to mention to wear shoes that are comfortable for walking. A guide will lead you all over the park.

You'll want a locker, which they have...and then you can wear whatever!

must have changed it was a buffet when we went with real exotic kingds of Mexican food not like the Mexican food here in TX or maybe the people who stay till night time from the resorts get a different meal plan thing

yes in looking at it it appears there may be two different meals we ate at the la cocina restaurant which came with the plus Xcaret pass
