Xbox games for a 10 yr. old

I have a 10 year old boy and have Madden NFL 16. What are some other non war games that you recommend? He does not want FIFA.

My 10 yr old plays mostly war games, but also plants vs zombies, minecraft, and is asking for star wars, lego dimensions, disney infinity.

I have 8 and 12 year old boys. They play a lot of NBA2k15 (asking for 2k16 for Christmas), Minecraft (although that they are slowly giving up on), Disney Infinity, Just Dance games and Lego games.

They are asking for the new Infinity set and the Lego Dimensions set for Christmas as well.

Just bought our 11, almost 12 year old an Xbox for Christmas. We have Lego Jurassic Park, Just Dance, Minecraft Story Mode (he plays the original on the computer ), and NBA2k15. He is really liking the looks of Lego Dimensions but it's not in his Christmas budget after buying the system. I am also sick to death of games where you just continue to spend and spend on characters after already purchasing the game.

Ditto the Minecraft and Lego games. My DS is almost 12 and I don't know if you'd classify it as "war" but he plays Assasin's Creed...which I initially freaked out about because of the name, but it turns out to be like the Disney Pirates online game on steroids. A lot of navigation and ship stuff along with parkour around historic cities...and of course the fighting and sword play, which is not terribly "peaceful and non-violent".

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I am going to go with Minecraft and Assasin's Creed (my husband and I will monitor that). He has many skylanders figures from WII. If we get a compatible portal can he use all the figures he uses with WII on the XBox? Merry Christmas!!

Yes, the skylanders figures can be used on an xbox compatible portal.

Not sure which Assasin's Creed you're looking at, but my DH prefers Black Flag.

For another suggestion, Forza Horizon is a pretty cool game.
