Is it better to buy the 2.5 or the 400 GB XBox with kinect? Anyone know what the difference is or if you really need the more expensive one. Thanks for any advice we are getting one for my son for Christmas. I know he will be excited:yay:

I think you are asking the difference between the 4GB and 250GB. According to my son, it depends on number of games your child will be playing. If he is playing a lot ( more than 3) then you should probably go with 250GB. If he is playing only kinect games then 4GB should work. My son also said if 4GB gets to small you can use a USB flash drive for more space. Hope that helps you some!!!

Buy one upfront with the largest memory. I bought a plain Xbox a few years ago and was disappointed that it did not have enough memory within just a few days and I had to buy an XBox hard drive!!! I had no idea.

The GB has to do with your XB's space to store data. The more GB of memory your XB has, the more games it can save game progress for. It also means the more games and extra content it can download from XBox live (paid of course, but you can also get demos there to try things out), and music you can put on, etc.

If the price isn't all that different, I'd just get the bigger one so you never have to worry about it. Otherwise you'll have flash drives all over with different saves on them you have to track down when playing games.

I don't think the Kinect games would save using any more or less space than other games.
