Xbox 360 disney infinity not able to play brand new gam.

On bought xbox 360 disney Infinity and tried to play it and said needed a update so tried to update. Half way through update it said not able to update needed to clean disc but it is brand new so it's clean. It said to goto xbox.com but just wanted to know if anyone know what to do if anyone else has had the same issues.
