xbox 360 any restock yet?

I have been watching with interest the sales of this system in the US. Microsoft claim they are sending out new systems the whole time to restock. Is this true? Has anyone on here found it quite east to get one this week?

Its out here in England this Friday, with lots of places already saying its sold out. I want one, but having problems telling the wife how we as a family need one!

Just wanted to know about current supplies. Anyone?

I did happen to get one on Tuesday, midnight. We went to Walmart at 1:00pm on Monday and got in line. We were number 5. They had 8 premium systems. After about an hour & a half, they gave us vouchers and sent us home (YEA!!!!). We went back at midnight and were able to receive our system without any problem.

Good luck finding one! I think they are the hardest item to get your hands on this Christmas.

I have not seen any since Tuesday. DH was able to get one by standing line line for 19 hours at Best Buy.

Good Luck in convincing DW. I knew if I told DH no he would buy it to spite me... Seriously I did not mind it as long as it was him standing out in the rain (yes it rained the entire time) and cold. It was in the 30's and very windy so conbine that with the rain it was miserable out that night.

We went to Target in Florence Al tonight and DH was teasing with the electronics clerk when asked if he needed anything else and he told her he needed a 360, she told him they had 10 this morning {Saturday} 8 regular and 2 supreme systems. Of course they were gone by evening time when we arrived

The electronics clerk at Target here in So. California said they were planning on getting more in next week. I found out on Thursday that my nephew just sold one on ebay for $700. I was bummed that I didn't even know he had gotten one...good luck!

Did you see on the national news this morning that many people who have gotten the 360's say that they don't work correctly and that they are junk? Glad I don't have to worry about one this year.

On Black Friday, I asked my local Target if they were going to get any in. They told me and many others, that they would get nothing until at least February

They sold out in the UK within hours last week. A few Core system restocks, but online only. Theres nothing in the highstreet!

I have been told the same thing.....they say that they have a MAJOR system error.....I would be careful to keep your receipt and be sure to register your system if you chose to purchase one........

I read online yesterday that there's already a class action lawsuit against Microsoft because so many of these units are overheating and frying the CPU. Personally, I wouldn't buy one of these until they get all the bugs out. The lawsuit accuses Microsoft of rushing the x-box 360 out too fast in order to beat Sony and some others that have systems coming out soon. Generallly with computer products it's better to wait until a later version so they can get problems fixed.

My brother who is a gaming fanatic told me that the system error tends to occur between 15 and 36 hours of playing time and that it totally burns out the mother board.......

Best Buy said they'll be getting more in a week or two. It will be in a flyer so people can line up and wait the night before.
