Our family sends our thoughts and prayers your way for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. :D

I didn't see this until this AM. I assume you are in surgery now or will be soon.

I am saying a prayer now for you and your surgeon.

By the time you read this you will probably be planning your next trip!

May God grant you and your family the strength needed to endure this hardship. May He comfort your family as they wait. May He also guide the doctors hands to perform the surgery and bring you safely through to be with your family for many years to come.

Hopefully when you read this your surgery will be behind you and you can be dreaming about your next trip to WDW with your wonderful family. Sounds like you can all use a vacation. I am thinking about you and hoping that all went well. Next stop, Disneyworld!

Thoughts and Prayers to you. Hope everything goes well and you're in WDW before long.

Peace,
G4L

May God guide each person who you and your family encounter. May He enter the hearts and souls of all medical person who touch you or your family in any way. May you all feel His peace.

Heart surgery can be scary--but I'm sure with God watching over you and guiding your medical team, it will be fully successful. My son had surgery at 16 and his problem was corrected.

Wishing you peace, love and a restful recovery so you can enjoy Disney Magic very soon! God bless you and your entire family. :cheer2:

You are in our prayers. I'm sure everything will be fine. My brother had the same thing (first time I'd heard of it). The surgery went fine. It's been about 4 months and he hasn't had anymore episodes (thats the only way to know for sure that the surgery worked). Obviously this is more common than I thought.

Be well. You'll be strolling down Main Street before long.

Hi, this is Cam's other half, Howard.

THANK YOU for the kind words of support and prayers. They seemed to have done the trick!

The 7 hour 40 minute surgical procedure was a success. Her heart is now beating normally, her pulse and blood pressure are back to normal. She can now discontinue the numerous heart meds she's taken over the years that were of no help to her recently.

The doctors at Johns Hopkins are encouraged with the results of the surgery. Despite developing a killer migraine in recovery, she is doing well. Her heart feels fine but she is still suffering from pain at the surgical sites, etc.

As with other procedures like this, there is a slight possiblity that this could re-occur if the ablated (burned) cells in her heart heal themselves. We are hoping that the bad cells are fully destroyed with no possibility of re-growth. The next few weeks are pivotal, please keep her in your prayers.

She will be very moved by all your wishes when she returns. Thank you again.

Howard
