THANK YOU for the kind words of support and prayers. They seemed to have done the trick!
The 7 hour 40 minute surgical procedure was a success. Her heart is now beating normally, her pulse and blood pressure are back to normal. She can now discontinue the numerous heart meds she's taken over the years that were of no help to her recently.
The doctors at Johns Hopkins are encouraged with the results of the surgery. Despite developing a killer migraine in recovery, she is doing well. Her heart feels fine but she is still suffering from pain at the surgical sites, etc.
As with other procedures like this, there is a slight possiblity that this could re-occur if the ablated (burned) cells in her heart heal themselves. We are hoping that the bad cells are fully destroyed with no possibility of re-growth. The next few weeks are pivotal, please keep her in your prayers.
She will be very moved by all your wishes when she returns. Thank you again.
