X Men Next Generation
Hello everybody, Wings here, thanks for reading!
So I’ve wanted to do an X Men RP for so long, you have no idea. And I’ve finally made one, so here we are.
This thread will be set directly after the end of X Men: Days of Future Past, after Logan wakes up and sees everything that’s come to be/all the good changes, etc. This means there’s no first day or orientation kind of thing, it’ll be straight into the day. This will feature X-Men characters and their relatives we create, like the YARP thread. Most of the X-men characters will be adult teachers, only the ones who have only ever been portrayed as teens or young people in the movies and comics will be teens.
Rules:
1. Characters must be 14-18
2. Unlimited characters, but if you don’t keep up with them I’ll limit you.
3. Treat each other well
4. Multiple people can only have characters with the same relative if all the people involved agree (Like how Eli and Penny and June and Phil and some of the COD/SOD people and to a lesser extent Mike and Nancy are played, they agreed to make these characters and they created them together, sort of, and they correspond)

Double note: if some of my characters seem overpowered, sorry, they just got both of their parent’s powers.
Triple note: If you have no ideas, I created all of these people but realized I don't want them all. So, except for Vera Kinney and James Xavier, if you see someone you like, tell me and I'll decide whether to give you them or not. However, please note that I was planning Mariella/Blaise and Jonathan/Angelina and I still want that to happen.
Name: Vera Kinney (X-24)
Age: 16
Physical Appearance: She has black hair and green eyes.
Personality: On average, Vera seems very cold and detached, but she’s not emotionless, just very good at hiding and avoiding her feelings. She’s not very social and not very good at being social. She doesn’t really have a filter. She’s smart, highly analytical and highly logical. She’s brave, fierce, and scary. She does have morals but they’re still a work in progress. Humor is also a work in progress.
Power(s): She has two adamantium claws in each hand, one coming from in-between the pinky and the ring and the other coming from in-between the index and middle. She also has a claw in each foot but rarely uses those. She has a healing factor.

Relation: Twin Sister
History: Weapon X wanted Wolverine back, but decided instead of recapturing him, they’d just take his blood samples and clone him. They hired a specialist, but the samples were too damaged, so they had to make girl clones. The first 22 times were unsuccessful, but the 23rd and 24th times happened at once and were successful, and the twins were born. They were dubbed X-23 and X-24 and trained/brainwashed to be assassins, cold blooded killers. It was getting hard to control them so the scientists created a “scent” that they could “mark” targets with and if they smelled it they’d just black out and kill the target. The specialist, Dr. Kinney, tried to help the girls, they were her daughters by blood, but ultimately her hands were tied. Then she came up with a scheme to get the twins out and destroy the place but the head was trying to kill her so he marked Dr. Kinney. He didn’t know about the plan so it was successful, but when the twins went to meet Dr. Kinney, they smelled the scent and attacked. By the time they got free of it, Dr. Kinney was dying. She gave them a letter she’d written and told them she loved them and they were her girls and their names were Laura and Vera Kinney. Then she died. Laura and Vera then searched for Wolverine, and after a brief fight everybody calmed down and talked. Wolverine had been sent a copy pre-death of Dr. Kinney, so he knew about everything and took them to the school. Both Laura and Vera have come to see Logan as kind of a father figure.

Physical Appearance: She has dark brown hair and blue eyes.
Personality: Angelina is very kind. Whichever of her two sides it is, whether bubbly and sweet like her mother or quiet and thoughtful like her father, Angelina is very kind. She’s willing to talk to or help anyone, whoever they are. She’s friendly but can get a little discouraged when people brush her off. She doesn’t like it when people dismiss or reject her, and when you make her get mad, she gets mad.
Power(s): Her skin can turn to metal, she has super strength and can phase through solid objects.

Physical Appearance: She has brown hair with a natural white streak and brown eyes
Personality: She is spunky and daring and has a bit of that southern charm. She doesn’t let anyone tell her what to do, and can get dramatic or lose her temper quickly. She’s independent but still needs her brother nearby at times. She gets rather nervous around her powers, especially when someone other than her family is very close to her. She’s friendly and likes to help people but will sometimes keep her distance.
Power(s): She can touch people and “borrow” their powers or energy.

Personality: He can be funny and sarcastic, a real class clown when he wants to. He’s also brave to the point of recklessness sometimes, especially if it has to do with someone he cares about. He’s loyal and friendly and does what he can to help and truly cares about people. He likes to have fun and goof off and not be serious all the time, but understands there are times to be serious. He can be smart and athletic, as well as creative.
Power(s): He can create and manipulate ice, becomes ice when fully powered up.

Personality: He’s very laid back and easygoing. Not much bothers him, except when you set off his temper, that’s when he’s not so forgiving. He doesn’t put much effort into school, but he can be an athlete and fighter. He might not always have the best relationships with people, whether because of his stubbornness or temper, but if he’s close to someone he cares a lot about them and would die to protect them. He’s very loyal and brave, sometimes cocky and lazy, but a good guy overall. He argues with his brother often but is really protective of him.

He argues with his brother often but deeply cares for him.

She wishes people could see her as Just Penna, or even Penna, Warren’s little sister, and not Penna Worthington. She likes art, music and sports and tries to participate in as much as she can. She’s kind and friendly and brave.

History: She lived an extravagant and prosperous life but hated it, as her parents were too busy running their own lives to care for hers and entrusted Penna’s upbringing to her older brother and the house staff. Penna was unfazed by the vast manor when she was first brought to the school and continues to be mostly unfazed by what goes on there. She loves the school, loves her powers and flying and hanging out with her friends and learning.

Personality: Blaise is a charmer and a flirt, with a tendency to be a ladies’ man/playboy. He does however know when to start, for him it’s about having fun and making girls feel good. He loves to play games, mostly card games, but is usually too lazy to have a competitive nature, unless fuelled by anger. He doesn’t take school seriously and can be rebellious when he wants to. Even though he puts off that bad boy aura he really does have a good heart.

Personality: Emma has always been very self-conscious about her looks; they’ve always been an obvious identifier of her status as a mutant and many people have called her a freak and ugly because of them. She can have a low self-esteem at times. She’s brave and loyal and selfless and always wants to help other people. She is kind and can be shy.

He likes to save people, which is perhaps his big flaw. He’s curious but he will never use his powers to satisfy that curiosity, he sees it as an invasion of privacy. He can get frustrated with the adults because he believes they treat him like a child and don’t take him seriously.
