I know this might sound funny but does anyone know if there is a service in the Disney/Orlando area that would rent a small 3-5 foot decorated Xmas tree (fake or real)? I wanted to see if could suprise the kids during our stay in Disney for the holidays.

My guess is there is not however I though I would through it out here.

Thanks for any help,

Paul

from the WDW Florist...but you probably have to buy it!! (At least all the decorations..which would be nice :sunny: )

Good luck! and Happy Holidays!!

Thanks for you help everyone. I have to give the WDW florist a call (anyone know the number?) as well as check out some local stores that I can pickup a samll tree .

Thanks again,

Paul

I bought that tree from Disney Florist one year. It was $200 but I have to tell you it was beautiful, worth every penny. I shipped it home for $17 and we use it every year. It reminds us of our Disney Christmas.

boy I must be cheap - I am very happy with my Walmart tree - it goes with me when I go in December (every year since 92 but this one - I am having bad withdrawal.....)

I would have never thought to get a christmas tree in Disney! I looked at the disney florist site and the two trees they offer are gorgeous! I would LOVE to have something like that in my room when I arrive! Santa Mickey looks so cute wrapped around that tree. I'm going home Dec 04, maybe I'll have that waiting for us!

What about LLBean? They have small tabletop trees that are real and about $30 - $40. They could send it to WDW, right?

Mary Anne - I would love to see other pics of that tree!

I don't have a picture but it was about 4 feet tall, complete with lights and 20 plush Disney beanie ornaments. Yes, it was pricey but it really made our Christmas down there. (We were there that year from the 22nd to the 31st). We stayed at the All Stars and placed it in the Window and added Christmas Lights to the Window too. People came from all over the resort to see our tree.

If you are going to do a tree and or lights in your room be sure to bring along an extension cord.
