If the rates were the same for these (2 bedrooms/2 baths), which would you choose? I am comparing....

Wyndham Palms
Cypress Point Grande Villas
Vistana Villages

I am concerend about ...
pools
proximity to WDW
resort amenities (basketball courts, playground, mini golf)
luxury feel of units and grounds
relaxing atmosphere

Thanks!

I'm not sure how to compare "if the rates were the same". I can't help but be influenced by the phenomenal rate offered at Wyndham on Hotelkingdom.com. For a 2 bedroom unit at $89, I've never seen comparable rates at the other places.

Cypress PointGV is going for $82.47 on HOtel kingdom.

When are you going? I will probably be at CPGV next week and have stayed at Vistana Villages as well. If that is enough time I will post a comparison then. I can tell you that some posters have experienced low customer service at V V. (INcluding me.)

1. Vistana Villages....this place is very new and luxurious. The pool is great and is zero depth with fountains at one end of the pool. We had absolutely no trouble with service when we stayed there in 2002. They do not have mini golf, but we spent all of our time by the pools anyway. They had activities, a small game room, basketball court, sand volleyball, and a small playground.

2. Cypress Pointe Resort....stayed there in April 2003. Very nice and clean (the resort was recently refurbished) but not as luxurious. The Volcano pool was great for my 6 year olds, but my toddler wanted no part of it until near the end of the week. There is mini golf--but nothing elaborate. This resort had nice activities, a huge game room/lounge, basketball court, sand volleyball, playground, ect.

3. Wyndam Palms...Never stayed there but did a tour in 2000. There was a lot of construction going on. The rooms were fantastic, but if your getting a room with the agreement to do a tour, they are extremely hard sell!!! We did tours of VV and CP and they were very low pressure.

All three are very close to Disney property. VV is probably the furthest, but it actually took us less time to get to Magic Kingdom than CP taking World Drive as opposed to fighting traffic at Downtown Disney.

Hope this helps
