I'm going to Orlando on business in August (no time to go to the parks :() and I'm being put up at the Wyndham Palace Resort, which is a DTD resort I beleive. Anyone stay here, and what did you think? Also, is there a bus/shuttle that takes you to DTD? I don't have time for the parks, but I'd love to shop if I get the time.

Thanks!

The reviews I have seen are mixed. Some really like it, some dont. Many have said it is not "resort" level but they call themselves one and charge a resort fee.

As far as DTD you can walk from this hotel..its right there

If your talking about the Wyndam Palace Resort and Spa, the place looks beautiful. While we never stayed there we did walk around. We always stay deluxe at dw, and I remember saying to my dh that the place looks great and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there. The lobby was large and the grounds/pool area looked real nice.

I have stayed here and it is a five minute walk to DTD. (The bus might take you there, but it is probably easer to walk!)

The grounds are lovely and I assume you are attending a meeting at the convention center which looks very nice.

Ask for a room with a view of DTD and at midnight you can watch the fireworks.

Thanks! I looked up the reviews in at Trip Advisor.com and they were mixed. Oh well, I'm only there for 2 nights. I'm glad I can walk to DTD, I wanted to pick up a few things for our trip in December, like Mickey ears hats and such, so we don't have to bother with it when we're on vacation.

Anyway, thanks again!
