I needed 2 nights prior to my stay at the Marriott Royal Palms so gave priceline a whirl and got this hotel for this fri and sat night for $33 plus tax. Not a bad deal Im sure, altho cant say because I have never stayed there. I called Wyndhams 800 number to have my By Request number added to my reservation. They said they would call the hotel and notify them I was coming. Ok I thought. Today I got an email from the Hotel Byrequest Manager telling me they are looking forward to having us stay there and my number has been added to my reservation, and everything will be prepared for my arrival (Im assuming she means my welcome snacks/drinks etc) I thought this was a super nice touch, I have never gotten an email from a hotel like that and I have stayed in too many to count...Anyway, I emailed back to say thank you for the email, and to ask about the possibility of upgrading to a family fun suite and what the additional cost would be. I got a prompt reply that she would be happy to put in my request for a family fun suite (based on availability at check in of course) and that there would be no additional charge, ByRequest members get free upgrades. So far this is looking pretty good. Keeping my fingers crossed for the upgrade...Anyway my question is to those that have stayed there, has anyone actually stayed in one of these suites and if so what are they like? I am leaving in a day and wanna be prepared for the good or the bad..lol

I have gotten this hotel several times thru Priceline and I always email them to give my membership number & several requests. Each time I have checked in, I have gotten a free upgrade to the kid-suite. I love it there. I think it is nicer than the Wyndham Palace in Lake Buena Vista. The rooms are clean, roomy & the staff is great. They don't degrade you (or make you feel cheap) for using Priceline at all. It is in a perfect location and the grounds are very nice....... You will enjoy it....... have fun!!!;)

Would someone who has had a Priceline reservation and requested an upgrade to a Kids Suite know if they are located in any special section of the hotel or are they scattered throughout the resort? We have two rooms booked and am considering requesting at least one of these type of rooms, if available, at check-in (with WBR). We have stayed at this hotel several times and prefer the rear of the property because it seems quieter. Also, is the size of the room much larger than a regular room and did you feel at all cramped? We love this hotel and for the price (!) it can't be beat. Thanks for any help.
