Wyndham Orlando Resort? Anyone stayed there recently?

We're trying to figure out a place to stay early April before our Hard Rock Hotel/Universal visit. I've read mixed reviews of Wyndham Orlando Resort and I was wondering what some recent opinions were. We'd be staying in one of the suites that has two beds plus bunk beds since there are 6 of us.

Besides your general experiences, how are the pools? Are they resort type pools or just lap pools? Any details would be great.
